I think anyone who believes there is only one god is the most cowardly, as any evidence for one god is evidence for most gods. Atheism is our natural born state- no reason to oppose that or see it as cowardly.

Atheists and theists who are preoccupied with prolonging their lives by worrying about second-hand smoke, air-bags, red dye, the Mayan calendar, and eternal life don't appear to possess much courage, moral, or spiritual. Some occasionally demonstrate physical courage.

Nobody. I'm a firm believe in God myself, but i have respect for other people who don't. Personally, i think you yourself is the coward for wanting to call other people cowards just for what they believe in, instead of having a tad more respect.

Bashers and hatemongers come to mind when discussing cowards. The ones in this section I'm guessing would never be so callous or rude in real life, its easy to be nasty when you remain anonymous.

People who believe in god because they don't have the courage to take responsibility for their own lives - they give their lives to god therefore he is responsible for the good things and bad things that happen to them. They need to have the courage to stand alone.

Why on earth would atheists be cowards because of their atheism? It does not imply fear of anything, yet implicit in theism is fear of god!

Atheists are. They try to shove accoutability to God under the rug by denying His existance. This will not make it go away. They will pay the piper.
