Do any of you have relationships that started out online? How has it worked out? I am really crazy about a guy I met online, we have met once. I am really starting to have alot of feelings for him and he is going to move much much closer. I am crossing my fingers that it works out but, it seems strange sometimes. Have any of you had great relationships that started out online??

Junkyarddogfan, the relationship you had broke some of my cardinal rules. She was already married HELLO, did you really think she was trustworthy?? It should have been a huge red flag to you that you always paid for everything, that's a bad thing. To fly her there each time at your own expense seems crazy. I do know people where he lives (it's not THAT far away) They say he is a decent guy. I appreciate your input and good luck in the future.

my boyfriend and i met on a free online dating site. he was much more nervous than i was, because ive met close to 20-30 people from the internet. i can honestly say hes the love of my life, and though some people think its silly to meet people from the internet, i think its a wonderful thing and nothing to be ashamed of. times are changing and people are using different resources to meet "the one", and i think thats great!

No good luck with online dating here, mine started out online as a great relationship. Flew her here 3 times during dating and she stayed a week at a time each time. Thought we talked about everything and that there was nothing we couldn't discuss with each other. Dated like 8-9mths b'fore marriage thoughts popped up. She had a son with her hubby she was getting divorce from and i was great with that, but in all that time never met him, she only sent picts...still don't really know if he existed. Her divorce was final and 1 mth later she flew here so we could get married. We did, she stayed a week and said she went back 2 finish school as we had previously agreed. She called me 2 days later and said that she needed an annulment. She said her divorce decree said that neither party shall marry until 1yr after divorce final and if i didn't give her a divorce/annulment she may lose full custody of her child b'cause of the violation.
Take my advice, if ur really serious about this guy, pay the online fee and have him checked out; ie criminal background,
regular background, etc. Only costs about $50 but may save u in the long run. Tell him what u r doing and y, if he has nothing 2 hide he should have no problem with it and may decide to do one on you...if he does then no matter what kinda relationship/feelings u may have for him, u may b better getting out now b'fore money is spent and hearts are further broken.
My online dating and subsequent marriage cost me over $8,000; the annulment cost another $885, we won't even start to discuss the mental and broken heart costs.
U may think a background check is a violation of his privacy or something, but look at it this way...if he lived in the same city as u, then u'd know his friends, hangouts, etc...thats a form of background check, so since u don't know any of that stuff with him living no where by u, y is it so different to pay $50 and have it done? How many $$$ do u have invested in this online relationship now? Whats another $50 to know for sure who ur really talking to?
Good luck and GOD bless.

I met a guy online a few months ago. He was planning to move to my city. We met in person while he was in town to get things set up for his move (we had been talking online for about 3 weeks). He moved here 3 weeks after that. We have been dating ever since. My feelings are growing stronger for him every day.

definite, properly, i've got met a good number of extremely astonishing human beings on line, people who in my very own existence i does no longer have been able to fulfill without the internet. i think of it relies upon on the courting. in case you're married and having a flirtatious sexual courting with somebody on line, definite, it extremely is cheating. in case you're chatting back and forth with a pal you have got here across you have issues in effortless with and that they understand you're married, have no purpose of wearing it any further, then no, it extremely is no longer cheating.
