A Clo-test was not preformed.
the histology is suggestive of an acquired MALT which may resolve after antimicrobial therapy for heliocobacter

MALT plays a role in regulating mucosal immunity. It may be the site of lymphoma, usually non-Hodgkin lymphoma. A specific entity is the MALT lymphoma linked to Helicobacter pylori in the stomach.
Chronic inflammation can give a histological picture suggesting lymphoma. But it resolves with antibiotics.
Or it can be removed surgically as this does not or has not spread.
Malignancy is as good as ruled out.

be sure they treat you for the hp bacteria it is usually treated with 14 day round of two different antibiotics, there is a simple breath test that can be done about a month after you have finished treatment to see if the hp is gone. remember most insurance's will put a pre-existing clause on new policies, so you may not have coverage on anything that you have been previously treated for, for at least a few months to a year. ask your doctor if they have samples to help you out also if they will give you generic antibiotics it will save you a lot. and shop around different drug stores have different prices. another option is to see if one of the drug companies can help you out with their programs for people who have little to no prescription drug coverage. your doctors nurse should be able to help you with these. trust me i do it everyday of the week except weekends good luck and remember even though it is expensive you may need repeat biopsies in the future.
