I went to my cousins house to play it but the screen was only blank but the when i got home it didnt want to work on my TV either. What happened and what do i do to fix it?

i had that problem when i went from a tv that i was using a hmdi cable for the hi def to a regular a/v cable cause you ps3 can only see one output at a time you have to change it yourself on the PS3 options.

With the PS3 turned on at the back, hold down the on switch at the front (near the disc tray) for 5 to 10 seconds. It should let out a few beeps when its done and the display should go back to its default.

pluginmaybe is right, just have it on, and hold down the power button on the front for like ten seconds, and it will reset the display setting to suit your tv.

You have to reset your display settings.
It will be easier if you reset the entire system setting all together.
Don't fret. All will be well.
