The Bible instructs them to be prejudicial. They cannot deny their god's own word otherwise they are not real Christians, even if they don't like it. Perhaps the vile hatred taught via the Bible is why genuinely good people turn away from Christianity.

p.s. don't bother pointing out the fallibility of other religions.

Funny how Christians wont answer questions where they are proved wrong in the easiest and most fundamentally basic ways.

Sorry Southpaw. I only have to look in the Bible to know this is true. Christians have to be bigots by order of god. Accept it.

The Bible instructs Christians to follow the precepts of their God, how is that prejudicial? If you are a believer of a certain faith, aren't you supposed to live by the instructions of that particular faith? In a nutshell, one thing I know about the teachings of most religions is that they dictate to their followers, while Christianity on the other hand, in itself, is not a religion, it doesn't force people to do what they don't want to. The message of Christianity is forgiveness through a relationship with Jesus Christ. So, where ever an instruction was given in the New testament of the Bible, and some parts of the Old testament, it was conditional: The individual has a choice to make--whether or not that person is willing to obey, the choice is theirs.

No, it is not correct.

Christ only taught peace, love, respect and non-judgement--to view his actual teachings read Matthew, chapters 5,6,& 7. This is the only place in the Bible where Christ actually taught, and if Christians followed his words there would be no bigotry.

The hatred taught within the bible is a reflection of the wickedness of the religious leaders at the time it was compiled.

Who has given you the power to judge everyone, and what they believe in?. I never heard a Christian saying to you or anybody else not to be an atheist, why are you atheists, always forcing your beliefs on others?. Believe what you want,
and let others do the same even if it shows a misjudgement,
To you on their part.
I beleve that the bible was written by man, hence the many mistakes in it, in an effort to keep man straight, while writing the bible, their human mistakes show through, human mistakes written by man, not mistakes that a god would make. I believe in the teachings of Jesus, and not books written by man. even though there are mistakes written about his life, man made them. I believe that he was here, and live by his teachings.

The word convicts our heart. Hebrews 4:12 not a christian. If you ever have anyone that comes to you without God's word and speak false doctrine / I feel / I think you need to run them off because they are dividers / denominational.

Just out of curiosity, where is all this 'vile hatred' you claim is taught in the Bible? Is it in the part where we are told to love our enemies? Is it where we are told that the most important commandments are to love our neighbor as ourselves, and to love God with all our heart with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our mind, with all our strength? Is it where we are told the story of the Samaritan, hated by all of Israel, who stopped to help a man who had been beaten, robbed, and left for dead? If this is vile hatred, how do you define love?

No. You can't speak for an entire group unless you know every person.

You don't even have to look further than Y!A to know that statement is not true.
