It makes a hypocrit out of Christianity when Bush claims to be acting on God's behalf or when Christians support the war. Don't quote the OT as that is pre Christian.
At the sermon on the mount:
You have heard that it was said, 'Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.'But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. (Mat.5:33-41).
And behold, one of those who were with Jesus stretched out his hand and drew his sword, and struck the slave of the high priest, and cut off his ear. Then Jesus said to him, "Put your sword back into its place; for all who take the sword will perish by the sword. Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels? ... And he touched his ear and healed him.(Mat.26:50-54, Lk.22:51)

It seems iwant_u2_wantme2000 isn't even capable of reading what Jesus said. Of course eye for an eye was OT but Jesus overturned it at the Sermon on the mount which is what I have stated.

A very odd question. Being Devil's advocate, it seems as though you are trying desperately to find a reason to bring in texts of an aged book to disagree with someone. Do you scour the old book when you have a disagreement in a restaurant ? You must be a million laughs.
Using your quote from the book of matthew. Would you let a person take everything from you in your home, or (for example you were American and had the right) would you shoot them ? Would you say that the American constitution is therefore wrong too ? Or the other quote ... if a single person was the only one to hold a sword, he could kill everyone and not die, as everyone else, having agreed that violence solved nothing would not be holding a sword ...
As a singular point though: I very much doubt 100% of the American Christian population (or any other country for that matter) agree with his view of how he perceives the ways of Christianity. The same way as I very much doubt 100% will agree with you .... perception after all, is a personal thing, not one which can be hammered into a person or a group of people. It is simple to pick quotes to suit near any ideal .... how about the obvious one about Judging others eh.

Do you really want an answer, or were you just seeking a free venue to share your view?
To answer your question, yes I am sure there are Christians who support the war. To be a Christian ALL that is required is that you accept Jesus Christ as Your Lord and Savior. Beyond that, application of Christianity and who supports what will vary, but anyone who acknowledges Jesus for what He is and accepts Him into their heart is a Christian.
You need to start a blog if you want to go on and on about your views.
Is someone who thinks they can question the heart of hearts of another person really Christian? That's GODs Job - not yours.

We are suppose to support Israel. God said that whoever remembers Israel he would remember. If we don't stand with Israel the United States will come under the wrath of God. All of those other countries that have turned against Israel will perish under the wrath of the all mighty God. If we don't protect Israel, God won't protect us as a nation.

I consider myself a Christian. But I don't support the war in Iraq OR Afganistan.
But you're 'judging' and asking others to 'judge' whether one is right with God or not to do so??

It's a new age crusade, it's about subterfuge, fooling the American people that it's doing the right thing to gain influence, and while they're at it, set up a few oil rigs, for the sake of humanity. "In God we trust". Get your head out of that Bible.

Everyone seems to have their own opinion of what it means to be a "True Christian". They all think the person standing next to them isn't one and is sinning, going to hell, etc...
Guess if they stand in a circle they'll just keep condemning the lot.

Eye for an eye was not the Sermon on the Mount.
That is a quote from Old Test.
Then that quote was for a man whose wife lost her baby cause of men.
As far as this war. I leave that up to God. God is in control. He is aware of what Bush is doing.

Judge not lest you be judged
You so called Christians are dab hands at quoting bits of text to suit your goals, no doubt Bush does the same!
In my opinion you are ALL a bunch of hypocritical tossers and the Romans had the right idea, now go and play with some lions, and if your god really loves you they won't bite!

Of course. Most major religions have a long and hallowed tradition of starting wars between their followers, and the infidels.
