I'm in love but I'm not happy, because I'm not with that person...! If happiness was the beauty of a flower then love would be it's perfume.
The only thing I can think of about being single that would make people "happy", is that they don't have to live up to anothers expectations nor do they have to worry about letting them down in any way.
I can say, (single at present) that I'm happy, just to have known that special someone and the memories I have of that time somehow ease the intensity of the grief I feel not being with her. I hope that makes sense?

I was happy when I was single. I had a good circle of friends (which I found out later that they weren't good friends at all). I also had the time to myself to do the things I wanted to do, but I found I was missing something. When my son went to bed early and I was sat downstairs watching TV on my own, I missed the adult company to talk to.
Now I am happily in love with my partner and we know that we are just made for each other. We are getting married in March next year and I just know that this time it's for real.
I wouldn't what to do without my partner being with me, I would miss him not being there when I come home from work.

To be honest i can really say that i'm more happy to be in love rather then be single. i love my boyfriend we been together for 3 years and we both are the same age.were both 18 and both enjoy each other compainion and love each other alot :)

I was single and happy for years!! Depends if your looking for love or not. Im now with my BF and im happier then ever before, Its nice to be able to share stuff with someone so close and who loves you so much.

I am in a relationship and i have been in it for a good while. I am 100% happy with my man bc he has the biggest heart! He will do anything for me and loves everything about me. He is not mean to me and he is always by my side. I love him:)

I am very happy! I have my unhappy days but as a whole I am happy with my choices. I am married and I love my husband unconditionaly. I couldn't tell you why only because words limit me in my expression. To answer your question, yes I am happy and in love!

The main ingredient to my relationship is that we are opposites. We always have things to talk about. I respect what he does and he respects what I do. We share the same values about marriage, children and love but it is the little differences that keeps the relationship going and makes it strong.
