no. he is not. he wanted Christ's blood to cleanse us because the people at that time used the blood of lambs for cleansing and so will be conversant with the idea of blood cleansing their sins. there was no other way to populate the world except for incest. God knows the reason why he does all things.

It all depends on how you look at it? As the book indicates God created a family. He gave all they would ever need to live forever and be happy. Because he was their creator he had the right to make the family rules In time this family, started to prostitute themselves regardless of the rules.
Likewise if you are married and your family starts prostituting themselves what would be your solution? What would all your neighbors think? It seems to me that as you look around in our world today that's exactly what the human race is doing?
So you blame God for all human missteps, by calling him blood hungry cult god. I think you have the sick thing turned around and you are walking in a unwise course. First take in the knowledge to find the true facts before making a foolish statement.
Deut. 32:6, Prov. 11:29, Prov. 14:15,18

I don't believe they're the most blood hungry. There are blood cults out there hidden in the masses of humanity that put Christians to shame.

It is not the Christian God that is blood hungry.
It happens to be the people that profess to be followers of that God in History that are the blood hungry.

Yes. But in a matter of Per Capita, the Aztecs still have the Christians beat. Just barely though.

Well at least Webrina knows what the Bible says about God! Geez people...
I don't if he's the *most* bloody hungry cult god, but the fact that his followers don't even realize how disturbed this is frightens me.

Consider the Canaanite god Molok, to whom babies and children were "passed through the fire", meaning they were burned as sacrifices to him.
The G-D of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob specifically bans human sacrifice in any form. That's why Isaac wasn't actually sacrificed and why Jesus wasn't a sacrifice, either.

Gavin I am starting to think you are the sick one.
You are talking about God and you have no clue who he is.
You don't have a clue what you are talking about.
