.......in the My Pictures folder? And save the cropped version - I need to cut some bits off. I'm Microsoft Windows XP. Simple explanations please - I'm an old person!!

I would recommend that you get this free image viewer/editor

It's much easier to use than what comes loaded with windows

Basically all you need to do in most all image editors is open the image/photo within the programs, place your cursor within the photo click on it and move your mouse around like you are drawing a box of sorts, once you "box" up what you want to keep go to the top and choose edit and then crop. You can then save the image

If you have Microsoft Picture It. Photo Premium 9 got to format, go down to crop and it should allow you to do that.
