Jesus knew before we did what this world would be like down the road and He told us how to deal with it. Read Matt 24. There is hope...that Hope is in Jesus Christ. Elsewhere outside of Him there is none. This world is coming to a screeching halt...as knowledge doubles over on itself everyday...
Daniel 12
4But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
For all we know and have....so many people suffer. It is only where there is knowledge of God that humans see any relief for the suffering that exists in this world. No where else can the answers be found.
Rev 11:18 When the nations are angry Christ will come to destroy those who destroy the earth.
Luke 21:26 Men's hearts will failing with fear.
2 Timothy 3:1-4 Perilous times, moral decadence.
Luke 21:34 Men are overcome by the cares of this world.
1 Thess 5:2,3 Peace talks.
James 5:1-5 Economic difficulties.
The worse it gets, the closer we are...scripture simply states to be ready and to ease the suffering of others while you can. Love in Christ, ~J~

Should I have faith that rejecting God would cure all the calamities and human suffering?
Faith is acting on a belief. I believe God told me to love my neighbor as myself. How would rejecting that teaching help those who are suffering?
I frankly don't get your question.

whilst I agree (as i don't think of there is any greater potential) that for the time of many circumstances it is the guy's very own fault, why does god make a suited creation so susceptible? further you look to tutor distinctive confirmation bias (gazing each and every of the hits, and ignoring the misses) it extremely is to assert you at the instant are not coping with issues like a rape sufferer who gets AIDS after he/she is raped? Or how approximately those ravenous in factors of Africa? How approximately those given contaminated blood products, what approximately, neonatal circumcision? Why does a infant should have a factor of his penis decrease off as a "welcome to the international" kinda element? What ought to the child have achieved to deserve this? If god created a suited element, and is all loving, why does he enable people to go through besides, in the event that they ask for forgiveness, the suffering could end outstanding? you realize distinctive adult men used to die, and go through extremely badly from a very aggressive sort of prostate maximum cancers, yet now Scientists have arise with a clean drug that treatments it in a pair of weeks, that does extra to alleviate suffering than faith does it not?

No. It was man's choice to know good and evil. This means having to experience good and bad, like calamities and suffering. God wanted man to choose life by eating from the other tree, the tree of life but he made the wrong choice. God has to sacrifice His Son to save man from his mistake and to restore all creation. Put on the helmet of salvation and have hope.

Its not Gods fault its Satans. You maintain your Faith by knowing that God is a Big God and can do all things and if we turn our lives over to him he will see us through any tough times we may have. This is what we hold on to and believe "The Promise" God said that he would never leave us and God can't lie.

At James 1:13 the Bible tells us "When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone."
God allows the suffering, but he doesn't cause it. Please let me explain.
In order to understand God's permission of suffering, we have to go back to the beginning. God's original purpose was for humans to live in peace on a beautiful paradise earth. (Genesis 1:28) He only gave them one law. (Genesis 2:16,17) “From every tree of the garden you may eat to satisfaction. But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die.” As their creator, he had the right to give them this law.
Satan lied to Eve and told her that if she ate from the tree of knowledge, she would not die and that she would be like God knowing good and bad. So she ate the fruit and gave some to Adam and he ate the fruit. When they did this, they joined in a rebellion against God. They in effect told God they didn't want to follow his law and they wanted to rule themselves.
This challange, whether God had the right to rule or humans could do it themselves, would take time to prove. So God stepped back and has let humans try every form of government. What has been the result? They have all failed, the earth is being ruined and humans have even brought more suffering to other humans. (Ecclesiastes 8:9)
To add to the trouble is Satan. The Bible tells us at 1 John 5:19, "We know we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the [power of the] wicked one" Satan is in control of this world right now, and because of the challange made in Eden, God has allowed it. However, God will not permit this to go on forever.
The way that I keep my faith in these difficult times is I focus on the fact that God's original purpose never changed. He still wants humans to live in a paradise earth. And in his due time he is going to put an end to the suffering that we see in the earth today.

As a Christian..... am I one? I don't follow any church but do know and believe in the man who was Jesus.
I'll assume I qualify. God doesn't cause such. God does however allow such.
Not so that there will be such, but so that we individually, and eventually collectively, will experience the thought
"I AM NOT a part of this! I CAN'T BE because I am not ugly like that!
When that occurs one will "bounce" out of this and back to where and who you truly are.
And you will be shocked at what you come to understand about such. And about yourself. And about God.

No. He doesn't interfere in those things. If someone dies in a calamity, it was their time to die, if not, it wasn't.
In times of hopelessness, I pray harder and lean on God.

Many of the answers I see parallel primoa's... he cares not about the grave injustices that God, if he existed, would be completely responsible for. He cares for nothing except his own affairs and his own 'relationship' with his sky fairy. As long as he goes to heaven when he dies, he is unquestioning about the brutal incompetence of his god.
...that, frankly, is one of the biggest problems with religion today. I think that the higher members of clergy are starting to recognize this... people are getting fed up with religion's rationalization of everything and are demanding to know why such atrocities are allowed to happen at the hands of an alleged kind, merciful, graceful, forgiving, all-knowing and all-powerful god.
