If you're talking about the Christ, Jesus, then yes, I know Him. He is totally cool and loving. He is so loving that He died even for these people on Answers who love to ridicule Him. He died for those who hate Him, too. Someone dies for the sins of the world and that's offensive? Keep it up, Christ-bashers, you are only showing your ignorance and pumping up our faith. Peace.

Nah.
I reckon the religion shoulda been named after Paul seeing as he was the one who did the initial marketing.
It's proved quite a winner for the scammers over the years - plenty of money, and money breeds power; The Holy Catholic Crutch was more powerful than most governments for many years until quite recently.

The Catholic Crutch will bear this out with a nod and a wink: There's good money to be made from religion IF you cvan keep a straight face.

Yes, I know and love Jesus!

God went for the jugular when he sent his own Son. He didn't deal with the problem of sin as something remote and unimportant. In his Son, Jesus, he personally took on the human condition, entered the disordered mess of struggling humanity in order to set it right once and for all.

Those who think they can get to God on their own end up obsessed with measuring their own moral muscle but never get around to exercising it in real life. Those who trust God's action in them find that God's Spirit is in them--living and breathing God! Obsession with self in these matters is a dead end; attention to God through knowing Jesus leads us out into the open, into a spacious, free life.

Do I know Jesus.
This is a very powerful question brother. Its easy to know about someone...but to truly know a Person means that you have to have a deeper relationship with this One. NOt just a relationship where u observe the person but one where this person's experiences become your own experiences.
Paul said something " that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His suffering... being conformed unto His death"
Day by day as believers we can come to know this One... this Jesus Christ, not just as our savior and Lord but by way of Denying the self, taking up the cross and following the Lord. He is the Lamb that we follow wherever He may go. Our Lord lead a life that was totally under the cross. He denied even His Good Self, his own words, his own actions in order to do the Will of the Father.. HE completely lived a life in oneness with the Father. Today to truly know the Lord, we need to know Him according to Who He truly is. We need to learn to take His life as our own life. For us to Live should be Christ... It is by holding onto Christ as our Head that we are intouch with what He truly thinks and feels regarding all things, persons, matters, situations. He is indwelling us and in our spirits we can truly know Him in all His inward parts. Our Brother Paul said that he took care of the brothers and sisters with the Inward parts of Christ.
This is no light thing. To do this there has to be a deeper knowing... a day by day life of living unto and by Christ. A life where all that you are is put aside so that Christ can be lived out. This is the HIghest kind of existence.. and a possible existence. Brother Gilbert:) daily... let us pray to the Lord Jesus... " Lord, I give You all that I am. I want to know You in all your human experiences. I want to know You inwardly, deeply through Your word..then Lord, take all that I know and work it into my life and experience. Constitute me with Yourself that I can not just know You, but Be a genuine reflection and image of You. Be my Bountiful supply this day! amen!"
