As it now arises that the police think madeline could possibly have been killed in her room and by "accident" does anyone else think the dad could have something to do with this?My husband said he was guilty from day one and I didn't agree but as the case progresses it does seem a possibility. If they were checking every 1/2 hr it would take longer than that to kill someone in a room, clean up evidence and dispose of body. At this late stage I just pray that a childless couple took her and she is being loved and cared for by them , the alternative isnt worth thinking about.

The case is getting more weird as it progresses but to be honest I'm a bit sick of hearing of it. When you think of the thousands of children that go missing every year, why don't they get this amount of cover.

i think that anyone that judges this case without finding out the facts are sik! i have just spent some time reading up on it and no-where does it state about her dad being in this, many people have claimed to have seen madeline how do you not know that it as the people before that used the room was the ones that got the blood on it. it would have taken alot longer that half hour to kill and cover up the evidence of madeline as both her perants have witnesses of where they were at what time. i dont think anyone should judge this case unless you are a part of it! I know that i will just sit here and hope the best and try and do my part but my part can only be donating money and praying she is found in one piece and the sik person who did this is locked up for life!!!

Well the most we can do now is hope and wait for Madeline's safe return and not point the accusatory finger. I highly doubt Madeline's father would try and kill his own daughter. The parents are distraught and upset. It is tragic that loads of other children go missing and aren't reported. Besides Madeline's dad as no motive to murder her.

I have always found this affair very didgy.
I mean how many times has a child been snatched from her bedroom at night in the presence of other children? without any noise/scream/scuffles? whover did this knew where the parents were and where were the children and even so why bothering when you couuld easily snatch a kid outside? they are a lot of unanswered questions. How many times have i seen fathers on tv giving press conferences and crying for the safe return of their daughter only to be found guilty afterwards? I do hope they are not involved because if they are and making all that trouble to try to find her then its very sick.

I think thats a bit far fetched! I doubt very much this is down to anyone else other than an abductor that snatched her whilst she was asleep. As many people have already mentioned, the newspapers are only reporting bits and pieces of the case and this means it can cause people to have a very distorted view of what has happened and what is going on.
I think people should stay level headed and not get carried away with what might or might not have happened.

Hello,
My boyfriend has also said from day 1 that the parents have had something to do with the girl going missing.
They seem more interested in visiting the pope etc than trying to find the child.
How does meeting the pope change anything?i understand that they are religeous but surely they must see how it looks to us all, especially us who have given to the Madeline fund and now i hear the wife doesnt want to return to work, how is she going to support herself and family?
I just hope they dont start using the money us workers and none workers have donated to them,it was to help to fund them while they searched for their daughter,,not to live off because she doesnt want to go back to work.
I really hope they find the child,no one should ever have to go through this but you have to ask yourself how many other times they have left their children alone.
This doesnt seem that its the only time they have left them alone.
Im not saying they deserved it but they could have prevented this by using common sense

I am not pro McCann but before jumping to conclusions the blood could mean anything including it could have been from a previous occupier of the room. just have to wait until they get the test results back. There was no mention of how much blood, couldn't have been much, possbly a few small spots or else it would have been noticed earlier.

My parents thought it was Madelines parents, but I'm ot entirely sure.I think it is was a kidnapping, but because people reactand cope with things differently, maddys parents are keeping it very high profile so people are more aware.

My husband also said that he thought that they could be guilty. I said not to be silly but maybe he was right after all. I really hope not and that this latest sighting is actually her

Why the dad? Why not the mum? They don't know who the blood belongs to. There is nothing to suggest there is a history of abused. This is sick speculation.
