I don't think it has a particular name, but I know that the wake in Christian funerals is the viewing and paying of respects to the deceased and their family members. I've always called the "after-party" the gathering.

some call it a funeral dinner, some call it a wake. some have it hosted by a local restaurant, or by the church parishioners that make and donate the food. Either way its the end and when in mourning, who feels like eating??

I believe they call this a luncheon. Most just say food will be served after the service at the cemetary at such and such a place.

Just a sign of aprreciation and thanks to the people who have express their condolence while you are having a wake of your dead belove ones. That is one of the traditions of the catholics, to let you eat after the burial. but that is considered addtional expenses to the bereaved family.
