Among the widely distributed ones it is COKE.

Sarsaparilla and root beer have been around for hundreds of years, home brewed, not commercial.

In 1767, the first drinkable man-made glass of carbonated water was created by Englishmen Doctor Joseph Priestley. These carbonated soft drinks were frequently flavoured with lemon making them the forerunner of Lemonade… which outside the US is more like your 7-up or Sprite.
Three years later, Swedish chemist Torbern Bergman invented a generating apparatus that allowed carbonated water to be produced in large amounts. This predated the US patent of Simons and Rundell by 40 years.
So first still lemonades rumoured to be in the 1540s in Paris. First monopoly created in Paris in 1676 (Compagnie de Limonadiers).
First carbonated drinks 1767 and first mass production method 1770.
Coca Cola was over 100 years later in 1885/1886. Even the Scottish soft drink manufacturer Barr’s has been around longer than Coca Cola. It began manufacturing soft drinks in 1875 and is still going.

i think it was coke or Dr.peper. but, the vary first coke was green.
