What the aspartame in the Diet coke will actually do for you is block the satiety sensors in your brain ............ quite ludicrous actually that a product that is marketed to help you lose weight will actually stop your brain from realising when you are fully sated (you know that happy full feeling) and thus you will keep either eating or drinking the aspartame containing product in search of the elusive feeling of satiety!! Avoid it like the plague, its basically a foreign ingredient to your body and for want of something better to do with it your body will simply store and collect it in your joints causing eventual calcification and worse .........

Any food containing aspartame, the sweetener in diet coke, will make you gain weight. The pharmacologic affect of aspartame is to increase apatite. If you drink diet Coke you will almost surely eat too much. It is not the Coke that contains the extra calories. It is the aspartame in the Coke that will make you feel hungry so you eat when you shouldn't. You will eat more often and you will tend to eat more each time.
Go see for yourself. Many really hopelessly fat people are consuming diet everything. Most of it contains aspartame. They wonder why they can't control their appetite. It is because they are using a hunger drug as a sweetener.

Bloody hell, scare mongers!
OK, Diet coke is not "Good" for you in the sense that water, fresh fruit juice, and milk from sacred himalayan goats might be, but it's not as bad as the full fat versions in terms of calorific and sugar content.
But, there is of course, a bucket load of sweeteners and artificial junk in it. I think it's fair to say that if you drank several cans of it a day, you're heading for hyper city, since E numbers are well known for making people hyperactive.
But a can a day? shouldn't really be a problem, just keep yourself topped up with plenty of water if your out in the sun.

No it is not "good" for you.
It contains the artificial (chemical) sweetener Aspartame for which there is increasing suspicion is actually quite bad for you.
You would arguabley be better off taking your chances with sugar.
It also contains phosphoric acid which leaches calcium out of the body and bones. Not a good thing either.

No way. That is way off, friend. Maybe a mix of some sprite (sorta) but not with coke! If you'd like to make your own ginger ale, this is it.

No it is not good for you, it`s not quite as harmful and not so many calories but thats it....The US recipe for Pepsi Max is different from the UK recipe,,,,why ? because the US won`t allow some of the ingredients that the UK do allow,,,,,,either way all soft drinks are not beneficial to us due to the colourants and chemical ingredients from the artificial sweeteners to the flavourings....

Drink it if you choose to, and when the Aspartame has given you chronic depression you will have time to type it into your search engine and realise how smart soft drinks companies have been. Depression may well cause you to 'pile on the pounds.'

Sorry its not sugar free, and no its not good for you, all fizzy drinks are bad for you, buy a blender and get loads of fruits you like, and cut up, put in blender and whizz till smooth, much better for you than the stuff you buy in shops, and only takes minutes, plus much cheaper. Many of these drinks have loads of sugar, i bought an iced tea in a bottle and it had 6.1g of sugar in it, just didn't look! but won't buy it again.

No, no fizzy drinks are good for anyone's tummy. They are terribly acidic. You should see what it can do to a penny! that is what it's doing to your stomach. Tearing it apart. If Iwere you I'd ditch the fizzy stuff and stick with water.
