The true church is made up of each and every believer who follows what Christ taught.
Since you are a new Christian, Listen to what is taught and question everything when you get home.
Look it up, read it for yourself, DO NOT take one verse to prove a point study it your self.
May I sugest you get also a topical bible if you can and study by subject also.

The Full Gospel Fellowship Church. Not the foursquare, I am afraid that if you start attending the foursquare church your faith with not grow in the Lord, but in other things not of God. Pray and the Holy Spirit will led you. I believe if I am remembering right, and you other Christians will have to help me, but I have not heard anything good about the foursquare. Your Full Gospel Fellowship is your Church you want to stick with.

The church according to the bible is a mystical body of every true believer in the world. Take every true follower in Jesus Christ and imagine taking everyone of them to a large uninhabited island out in the pacific and for one day they all get together on this Island. That's the church. Those people are the church. The full gospel fellowship church and the FGFC and many other churches are just local churches where true christians gather on Sunday. None of those churches are completely composed of true christians. All of them have non-believers going there, many of whom think they are believers. The more true believers a church has is dependent on how closely they follow the bible. Some churches are bible based and 90% of the people who go there are true believers. Some churches are not bible based and, In fact, deny half of what the bible says and those churches might only have 3-5% true believers. The closer a church follows what the bible says the higher percentage of it's people will be true believers. Some churches are so far off in what they teach that I wouldn't even call them a true church. They are just cults. Find yourself a church where they teach the bible literally and verse by verse from genesis through Revelations. There's not a whole lot of churches nowadays that do that. That's why I like the Calvary Chapels. Usually about 95% of the people at the Calvaries are true believers and their main function is to teach the Word Of God.
Go to this website: http://www.intouch.org/index_76034.html... It's Charles Stanleys'
website
If you click on ‘Broadcast’ and then if you click on ‘Radio Archives’ or ‘TV Archives’ you can get all kinds of Audio or Video messages. I think his archives go back to 2006. This is the christian answer to your problem, which I believe is the only answer. He talks about depression, fear, worry, guilt feelings, lack of meaning in your life, slavery to habits, the christian view of sex and many more things from the bibles perspective. He talks about God and how you can know Him in a personal way. The topics are all labeled so you can pick and choose what you want to listen to. Also, find yourself a church(I recommend one of the Calvary Chapels if there is one near you) but there are other good churches. Just find one that believes the word and teaches it verse by verse. If you go to http://maps.calvarychapel.com/, you can type in your zip code and it will give you the Calvary Chapel closest to you. Again, you can't go wrong with the Calvary Chapels. I've never seen one that was not RIGHT ON. God does Love you(John3:16).

I Know that my church is the True church. My church is the same Church that Christ set up in ancient days. That church died away after the death of his apostles. The Lord brought it back to the earth through Divine revelation. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Through the power of divine revelation and the faith of a young boy, Christ's church was restored to the earth. We are set up the same way as the primitive church was. We have a prophet who leads and guides us and gives us modern day revelation and direction. We also have 12 apostles who lead the church.
We have the Book of Mormon which is Another Testament of Jesus Christ. We also study the Bible- the King James Version. We beleive that Christ is the head of our church and everything we do in the church is done through his name. I invite you to find out more information by going to www.Mormon.Org
Please don't make the decision to be baptized or saved into any church and enter into those covenants until you are truly converted and know that is where the Lord wants you and that is Christ's true church.

Praise God for this Soul! Yes, when a child becomes Born-again the Angels of Heaven get otgether to Rejoice at the Glad News!!! I was Reborn at May 1995
When we become bornagain and Accept Christ we become the temple of God. Now to tell of a Perfect Church here in this Earth its Impossible because again its the institution of men.
But to suggest a church:
+it shoud be a Born-again church which teaches the Word of God,
+the messages should be based on the Bible and Christ the Foundation.,
+One that believes in the Triune God - Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ (WORD / Son of God), and HolySpirit
+No idol worship, praying to saints or such
+One where your get to Worship the Lord in Truth and in Spirit
Always remember no Church is perfect. Perfect church is without any sin, any mistakes..you find that only in Heaven.
Also remember, not to say your church is the only one that takes up in Rapture. Dont get caught in any cult groups.
Above all, even of I said all this...always pray. Let HolySpirit be your guide forever. Build a prayer life with JesusChrist, closer relatioship, Grow in the Word daily not only on Sundays..And all your needs will be fulfilled in Christ Jesus. God Give you Grace...Be a Firebrand and pray many others too to accept Christ. God Bless

That's a good question. One that many seem to have trouble with. Many are also confused as to which church is God's church. And no wonder. If you take all the "churches" in the world and look at what their names are, what they believe, if their beliefs line up with the Bible (and many don't follow the Bible exactly as it should be taught and followed).
Is the church a building? Consider this: Jesus created/founded His church (not churches). What did He die for? Did He die for buildings? No. He died for the whole world and only those who become Christians (according to the Bible) make up the church with Jesus as the Head. Yet, many say the church is a building and take care of the building more than the people. In Philemon 2: "to Apphia our sister, to Archippus our fellow soldier and to the church that meets in your home."
Jesus bought the church with His blood. Jesus is the Head, the Bridegroom, the Saviour. Read the whole book of Acts, Romans 6, the whole book of Ephesians and the whole book of 1 Corinthians. This may help you to understand more about what the church really is. Also ask God to guide you into understanding His church and what He wants you to do with your life, and how to be truly saved (receive the free gift of salvation). There are different passages in the Bible that will show people what God expects of them, how to be saved by the blood of the Lamb, and God's Will for people's lives. The Bible as stated in 1 Corinthians and Ephesians states that there is only one Church. The one that Jesus founded and that Jesus didn't create "churches".
The church in the Bible (not to be confused with denominations) is known as the church of Christ, the Temple of God, the church of God, the Bride of Christ, the church of the Firstborn... Christians (those who make up the church with Jesus being the Head and Saviour of His church) are known as Christians, followers/disciples of Christ, saints, brothers and sisters in God's family/household. Nowhere in the Bible do you find the church or christians having a denominational name.
God will direct you if you ask Him, pray and search His Word seeking to understand the true message of Christianity.

Well...you are going to get lots of answers saying that their own Church is true...You have to find out for yourself too really know.
I know with all my heart that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the TRUE Church of Christ. (Its also known as the Mormons) I would suggest reading the Book of Mormon. You can also call the local LDS Church in your area and as for Missionary Lessons if you would like.
I hope you find what you are looking for. Have a Wonderful Day!

The first century Christians called their churches by either of the names. The churches that use these name today for their distinctive fellowships are both Bible based evangelical groups that acknowledge teach the fundamental doctrines of Christianity (as represented by the Apostolic and Nicene Creeds); but they themselves may not embrace the creeds as part of their worship or teaching. They primarily differ in teaching and practice on the present day manifestation of the miraculous gifts of the Holy Spirit, especially speaking in tongues and public healing services. Their are other differences, I'm sure, even among themselves. For example, some Churches of God baptize in the name of Jesus only while other baptize primarily using the Trinitarian formula. Some Churches of Christ are acapella and others use musical instruments in worship.

Why were you born again if you are not sure of the faith you joined? Seems like you need to discover this truth for yourself and stop listening to what other people tell you.
What if your next best friend tells you that Zoroastrianism is the true church? Find faith inside of you before you look to a sign on a box to give you that answer. God is in YOU.
