Yes. I don't see why they couldn't be. So long as they are respectful of what the other wants.

I think the human race is in denial about this. Just think, humans are primates. No other primate is sexually faithful to one partner. I think there are some cases where at least one partner is faithful but I think most people at least share a kiss or a one night stand with someone else. I've seen the most morally straightforward people stray. I've also googled it up and found that men are constantly on the hunt for mates whilst women will mate with the best mate available. Be it her husband or the neighbourhood stud. Of course we are not as raw as animals but there is a bit of wildness in us. Sorry to confirm your fears.

Well if the question is CAN they be faithful, yes.. But a lot of people arent happy being with only one person. It gets boring and old. Everyone wants some spice!

I think yes, especially about women. Because when you love (or like very much) a man you want nobody except him. It's natural. Men are less strong against temptation, but if he doesn't want to couse pain to his woman, he should be faithful.

If they are well matched. According to studies, men and women don't always marry for love. They thought they did, but........ hmmmmmmmm After a while the "magic" wears off and they become vulnerable and needy for love. The husband becomes bored. His humongous ego wants attention..... And so it goes.

My parents have been married for 32 years and not once have they cheated on each other. If you're best friends as well as lovers then you've got the perfect combination.
