Okay...

To the Creationists: What did you really feel about that statement? When you clicked on the question didn't you have a hope that your doubts would be assuaged?

And to those who believe in Evolution; Same question - didn't it make you doubt for a second?

My point is that people claim to be certain of their facts, but they are seldom telling the whole truth.

No doubt here, just a wide grin ready to clink the links that would probably lead me to Harvard.com (not Harvard.edu) and Stanford.net (not Stanford.edu). And I was so looking for the chance to shoot you down.

However, I would disagree with your premise on a personal level. Overall, for everybody, I would say that people should question the facts, the things they believe in, and just always take a look at the evidence. This is basically what science does.

If you try to compare the 7 day account of creation to the evolution of the universe you will find similarities. For example the big bang started with a big explosion and the genesis accout started with let there be light. Creationist end as man as the pinnacle of creation and evolutionists indicate that man is at the top of the evolutionary ladder.

Eve was taken from the flesh of Adam. Science can verify it now by cloning and genetic engineering. Comes a time that Science will be a long detour to Theism. Just like Communism is considered to be the longest way to Democracy.

Creationist here...

Piqued my curiosity. The uncle of the student leader of the Creationist society at Stanford is a minister at my parents' church, so it was the Stanford part that caught my attention above all else.

I am always looking at evidence for both sides, so whenever there is something new presented by either side I look at it objectively.

But for most people who believe what they believe, they will continue to believe whatever we believe in spite of insurmountable evidence against it.

I believe in evolution. No I didn't doubt it for a millisecond. i clicked your question to troll and make fun of you. Thats the only way to argue with creationist since logic and scientific evidence are lost on them.

You used authority figures to capture your audience. First of all, who says authority figures are correct about anything? I don't accept something because it came from a certain school or person. That is foolish. It's a trap.
