I drive an imported car is it from a person whom imports a lot of cars what others have they dealt with can you ring a past customer up.
If you have all the proper paperwork and has been registered in this country and moted etc then it should be ok.There is so many cars imported all the time in this country and iam sure there is the means to check the car out.
Also where has it come from the other end a garage maybe then can you contact them.
Another thing is can you get this same car over here already for a little more money.
If its a ebay seller then if its a 0 rating then stay away from.As these folks usually like a deposit and run.

Simple answer - the car doesn't even exist.
They have just stolen a few pictures and a description, then posted the ad, claiming it is their car. It isn't...
They will undoubtedly tell you all about holding your money until you are happy with the car, or saying that a safe harbour agreement will cover you, or a whole host of other lies.
DON'T FALL FOR IT. It's a well known, long running scam. If you send any money, you will lose it. All of it. Permanently.

You need more information. Some times they are owned by military personnel stationed in other countries or one of the many other legitimate reasons, but if you can get the equivalent of a hpi check carried out perhaps in the UK and the other country where it is registered

apart from anything else it may not even be legal use on the UK roads. and what you save on the purchase i nbuying the car will be lost when you come to insure it, mention import on a insurance application and none of the large companies want to know. my advice is dont do it

I thought you were gonna ask that if you ordered it from Apple themselves, which would be a no. In this case, once the phone comes from Apple to your friend its 'his' so Apple or no one can stop him/her. Make note though, don't ask him/her to buy one of the contract options. Though they are cheaper they require plans for 2-3 years & have high early termination fees & most importantly, they are locked, so you wouldn't be able to just put in another microSIM from another country & it expect it to work.

Personally I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. It is probably stolen.
However if you can verify that it isn't (get the VRN/Chassis Number and check it out with the police) and it isn't coming from somewhere like Georgia, then it might be ok.
