Man created God in his own image.

The christians solved this, by claiming than mankind couldn't be more than about 2500 years old. Some has taken this even further by claiming that mankind is a mixture between an alien race of outerspace and some creature on earth, designed to be slaves.

If mankind was indeed created by God, then God is a very agressive and not very intelligent God.

In religion you can have 1000 answers based on your imagination. If your speculation sounds just a little logical(even though it's a fallacy) then it is accepted as truth.

If a cave man/woman were dressed in modern clothes, even a Nethanderthal, and was walking down the street, you would not notice him/her.

By the way you have the question around the wrong way, Man created god in his image. Thats why the god in most religious texts has all of mans faults. He is greedy, he dosent want to share you with another god, He is jealous, he gets quite irate if we show another god some attention. He is angry, his anger has smitten us in times gone past. He is bloodthirsty, I mean he thinks nothing of wiping out whole communities. He is judgemental, ... I could go on for ever here.

More to the point, is he blonde, brunette or a redhead, bald or gray-haired? Is he tall, short, fat or thin or of medium build? Fair skinned, Mediterranean, black, Middle Eastern, Oriental, Asian or Aborigine? Or does he, perhaps, look like a Southern African Bushman or a South American Indian?

The reason humans are 'made in his image' is because he was invented by humans. Maybe to dogs, he looks like a dog (except not even dogs are probably dumb enough to believe in god).

God is not a caveperson, we are the ones who made the image of a what a caveperson shpuld look like. God created us in his image means that we have a reason, and are able to understand who God is. is the fact that you not willing to believe on God is because you would be held accountable for your actions.

That's an interesting one, because if there is alien life, it surely looks nothing like us.

Intelligent alien life won't have two eyes, two arms, and two legs like like most life on this planet, so did God create that life in someone else's image or what?

If god did create people in his image then maybe it was an image that was meant to be evolved into and also.

Prove to me god isn't real...

Good, now prove he is.

If God tried to explain who he is to us it would be like a human trying to explain his or her self to a cockroach.God thought up an image and called it man,not necessarily what God looks like.Only one man has seen god, apart from Jesus,Moses saw God and said it was just overwhelming bright light.
