We would all have one big aneurysm and die.

I read that we DO use 100% of our brains, and that psychics just made up the fact that we only use 10% of our brains, so that people would believe they are a rare case of people who are able to use more of their brains than we can, and this is why they can read the future, and read minds, etc. But in actuallity, they just know how to out smart people. So, if that's true, then we'd be the same kind of people we are today, since we're already using 100%

You're making my head hurt. If the common person had such brain usage, the universe would explode. Most of us wouldn't really know what to do with it. Even with it operating at 100%. Genius doesn't come from bigger brains or more brain being used. Geniuses are tapped into the universe. They allow universal knowledge to flow through them. With our brains as they are right now we could all be super intelligent just by learning how to access this available universal knowledge. Everything is energy, including our smarts. Just tap into the energy that is.

why does the "we only use X% of our brain myth" hold such power over people's imagination? Think, people. If we didn't use it, it wouldn't be there. It would have died off long ago. No brain is lit up completely at any one time (that would be a massive seizure) but all parts of the brain are used for different tasks during a day.

Probably unable live to with ourselves and with each other if we used each part at the same exact time. But any normal brain uses each part to function the physical body daily. So we do use the total brain. Only those who have [medically] less brain function don't use their total brain and they are deficient because of it.

I hate to burst your bubble, but we already use 100% of our brains. The brain is by far the fastest energy-burning organ in the body, and would have never evolved to the size it is if we didn't need it.

Some would become crazy, the others would survive and would be capable of the best or the worst.
Or then the world will disappear. Using 100% of our brain, our existences will lose their directions.

I'm guessing if I used 100% of my brain all at the same time for an extended period of time I would burst into flames (my head would, at least) The amount of energy that it would expend would be stupendous.

Actually, we do.
The belief that there is a large chunk of neural tissue with no day to day function is an urban myth.
Of course, we don't always it as well as we could. But we do use it all.

Well, it sure wouldn't look like THIS board!
Actually, the idea that "we only use 11% of our brains" or whatever is largely a myth. We use just about all of brain, but different parts for different things.
