All these people who are telling you not to get a tat before you're 20..........
are full of crap...............don't listen to
anything they have to say. They don't know what they're talking about.
Go to your search and type in "Tattoo
Laws"................then just put in the state.........that will give you all your answers......................not all states are have the same laws.................
so, find out for yourself and don't listen
to these people.

I don't reccommend you get a tattoo at any age under twenty really, you'll most likely regret it, but Austrlia basically allows anyon e with parental permission over I think 15, you might be able to try going with your 'rents

If you get a tattoo before you are 16, and before your body stops growing, it WILL look like crap in a few years. Just something to think about before all you 13 year olds go inking yourself.
The moral of this story: WAIT, IT WILL BE WELL WORTH IT.

I think in CA you can but you have to have parental consent.
