Jesus loved you and you dont love him back. He died for you and you lived to reject him. If you reject a priceless gift, logically you should expect a timeless consequence.
And besides, Why should you be in Heaven when you reject and defy the God of Heaven? If this question bothers you, then ask yourself why? Why do you struggle with issues concerning hell? Could it be a warning?

Star Jumper----why oh why, whine whine-----would man ever get the notion to reject Jesus Christ, and then hope to escape that rejection?

On the watch---

WHAT DOES, "AND THE SMOKE OF THEIR TORMENT RISETH FOREVER" MEAN?
And they shall be "Cast alive into the lake of fire where the beast and the false prophet are." What is the lake of fire? "And they shall be tortured day and night for all eternity." Sounds like hell to me. Are you reading the Dr. Seus Bible?

The question is not how much the Son of God's life is worth. We don't go to hell for rejecting Him. We go to hell *because* we reject Him, and without His redemption, we deserve hell. We deserve hell because every sin that we ever commited has been against an infinitely holy God and infinitely holy laws. Therefore our sin is infinitely great, and we deserve infinite punishment and separation from the God we have sinned against and rejected.

If Jesus loves you, why, oh why, is there even the notion of Hell? I thought his father stated that the price for sin is Death itself. These failed 'scare' tactics just push people away from the truth. Please try a different approach that has nothing to do with Dante's twisted imagination.

I am a Christian as well.

I used this same answer for John D above when he asked why atheists compare Christ to Santa Claus. Please Read all of this. Withdraw a bit in your agressiveness. We will not win anyone over by rebuking them or telling them how foolish they are. Hell fire preaching and scare tactics is not what Jesus used. People will need to read the Bible themselves to see that God does not tolerate wickedness, let him do that. Our job is to love people and let them see God working in us, not to judge them and tell them the consequences. I have been in your shoes before though brother and it is hard not to argue and debate, but we are debating against more than just a person when we debate with unbelievers, God himself has not yet saved that person, and that means you and I can do nothing but witness to people and love people.

Here is Psalm 14

The Fool Says, There Is No God
To the choirmaster. Of David.

14:1 The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.”
They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds,
there is none who does good.

2 The Lord looks down from heaven on the children of man,
to see if there are any who understand, [1]
who seek after God.

3 They have all turned aside; together they have become corrupt;
there is none who does good,
not even one.

4 Have they no knowledge, all the evildoers
who eat up my people as they eat bread
and do not call upon the Lord?

5 There they are in great terror,
for God is with the generation of the righteous.
6 You would shame the plans of the poor,
but [2] the Lord is his refuge.

7 Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion!
When the Lord restores the fortunes of his people,
let Jacob rejoice, let Israel be glad.

**But Jesus did not come to earth and tell people how foolish they were**

He came and he treated every man the same. The unsaved around him who had hard hearts were not chosen to be saved, but those who God chose were turned around. We all walk in darkness until God changes our heart. We chose God because he first chose us:

2 Thessalonians 2:13

But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruits[1] to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth.

**And this verse always knocks my sock off, especially the last part**

Acts 13:48

And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed.

and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed.

**Think about that, if someone is not appointed to eternal life, and God has not chosen to save them, then there is no use letting them drive you nuts**

You know who drives me nuts, SATAN and his decietfullness :-)

We are to love all mankind, not make peace with them!!!!! But to show them love. It is a commandment from God. We will never win people over or allow them to see God working us by rebuking them, we must be humble creatures and pray that God will change the hearts of men and use us as witnesses. It is okay to answer their questions with a Godly and correct answer.

If you want to see an example of a good but bad question, read the only question I have asked on my profile. It was not as straight forward, but it shows we all get defensive at times, and I am no exception to the rule.

If we Christians were all perfect we would not need Christ and be in Heaven with our God already.

If Atheists need a place to be wrong we should accept them with open arms, witness to them as best we can, ask God to change their hearts and allow us to work in them, and speak of God's forgiveness, cuz face it, none of us deserve to be saved anyhow. We would be tooting the same horn had God not shown us the light.

I am a student of the bible for over 20 ,i have not found any references in hundreds and hundreds of hours of research that conclude there is any such a place as hell,an eternal torment in a fiery pit surrounded by demons. not only is it not supported in the holy scriptures, its illogical.
"the wages sin pays is death" the grave

How do you know Jesus loved us? How do you know he was real? You don't so STFU. There is no heaven so you devoted a lot of your life for nothing. If you love Jesus so much kill in his name.

You seem to have this affinity for hell...at least for talking about it. Scare tactics only work on the weak minded. I, however, am strong in the Force...
