It seems to me that some Atheists believe----not all----but some think that if there were a Hell, which there is, but they don't really believe that there is one, That they would be sent to Hell for their wrong doing, or mistakes they may have made while still living on this earth. That is not true. Its because of their disbelief in our Lord God. The fact that they totally disregard the Bible and its teachings, and they disregard God as the Creator and refuse to accept Jesus Christ as our Saviour. Wouldn't you agree?

Aaron, I am not sitting here trying to make myself better than anyone, as you have described. The fact of the matter is, If someone an atheist is questioning their after life, it tells me that they are looking for answers. That is our goal, right, to led souls to Christ, How can you led a soul if they are already there? Just maybe by chance if given the correct information one may look deeper into the Bible and want to learn more, instead of believing false doctrine and walking around blinded to the truth.

Yes. It's by grace we are saved through faith. Ephesians 2:7&8 Jesus won our salvation and offers it to us freely. We can't do enough good things to merit Heaven. If we could merit our own salvation, then Jesus went to the cross for nothing. We'd be our own savior and our own god. The absence of good works isn't what would cause a person to go to hell. Rejection of God, Gods love. Gods offer of forgiveness through Jesus is what gets a person into trouble. Good works are a by-product of Gods grace and salvation. Good works is not salvation itself.

Agreed my Christian brother, to be honest I've been thinking about this. If you have Christ and you know you love him and every time you sin you confess it and move in another direction. Is there really such thing as sin? God died so we can be free, as far as the east is from the west our sin is no more. Wouldn't that mean then we are clean? Anyway yes hell is actually meant for Satan and his demons. Since man decided to sin he shall be punished there. But grab Jesus Christs hand! for it is the only escape rope in the room!

Here's my belief and what I was taught. People go to hell because they don't do the 4 main things (this is what my preacher has told us all) we don't walk the path of love, we fear god so much that we don't want him to judge us and tell us the truth (as in our mistakes), we don't have mercy for others, and we don't have faith. those are the four main reasons (as so I was taught) on why people mainly go to hell. If you were to follow one of those four main things. The one you should follow is love. Christians have been sent to hell because of their fear of being judged, priests, and a lot of others never even knew why they were in hell to begin with. (and i suppose your wondering how i know this) my pastor was told by god (believe me or not) that he has near the strongest relationship with Jesus. he was sent to hell and heaven to see what was happening. so it's not only because people don't believe. its many other things as well.

the reasone people God to hell is because of sin. the only way to get the sin washed away is through the blood of Jesus. so actualy I think they are right. the only way to avoid hell is to accept Jesus as Lord and saviour. but hell is because of sin.

I think most atheists are just ticked that people keep telling them they will go to hell. If they don't believe in God, then they obviously don't believe in hell. If they don't believe in it, they won't go there. Of course, they don't get the benefits from other end of the spectrum, but they're fine with that, too (the ones that I know).

No matter what a person believes, all who die, with the exception of the spirit anointed of God, go to Hell. Hell is nothing more than the common grave of mankind.

your god believes in blood offerings.....if and I say if he were the true god...then I don't want to know him.......there is zero chance that the christian god is the true god as a true god would be perfect and not need the blood offering of a human to make everything alright.

I really do not care to contemplate or worry about what atheist do or do not believe. They have their problems and we have ours. I would prefer to discuss God, Christ and salvation rather than ruminate on how so much more holy we are, like the proud man praying his proud prayer in the temple and God hearing him not, but rather He listens to the humble sinner confessing his own fault.
