It will be 101 degrees. What is the best time to travel so we don't die of heat stroke or something? Coolest time of day? Ealry, though we're not staying all day.

I feel for ya'll in this intense heat. The early morning hours like 4 a.m. are the coolest of the day ya'll should start out then if possible.

very early in the day- before 10 am and later in the evening after sun set.
drink a lot of liquids too. that will help.

try taking alot of beverages in a cooler with you preferably water or you can have a mister with you and that can be air conditioning unless you get cold or it starts raining dont roll up the windows keep them down trust me even if you are going down the freeway keep at least one down part way even if it is loud you will be miserable and try to stay out of the sun

i know this because i live in az where it gets 110 regularly and i dont have an ac in two of my cars

wow, good luck. 4 in the morning sounds good. Try to get to where u wanna go before sun rise.
