It isn't, the idea that any god would only accept you if you accept him is awful. Your good deeds are worthless.

Yes by the christian doctrine the murderer would go to heaven the victim to hell.

Nice cat that god you folks grovel to.

Think about it this way.. The Atheist is destined to go to Hell anyway, right? Don't you think Hell would be a lot worse than Earth? So, why would it make a difference if she experienced Hell before dying? I'm not trying to sound like an in-compassionate jerk, I'm just saying... Hell is supposed to be worse than anything you could experience on Earth... And Atheists belong in Hell (if it exists).

Personally, I just can't understand the Christian's view of Heaven/Hell. It seems extremely unjust that a person will spend an ETERNITY in Hell, because of the mistakes they made while on Earth. What makes no sense, is that we don't even get a second chance! And we spend an Eternity down there?? There's never a point where it's like, "OK, you've learned your lesson, you're free to go!"?? And for murderers and rapists to find God, a free ticket into Heaven? I don't believe it, they lived so horribly, yet they're allowed in Heaven because they believe? I can't believe that. At the VERY LEAST give him SOME punishment first! But you know, just because a murderer says they've repented, does not mean they really did, and they probably still are destined to Hell. And if they truly did repent, then they probably spend their last days on Earth in Hell, with the ghosts of their victims constantly tormenting their soul.

Wow finally a question worth answering! For one the murderer has committed two of the worst sins that can be committed. It is almost sure that God will not allow him to receive full forgiveness for that which he has done. In some very rare cases they may be forgiven for that big of a sin, however in most cases they will never be able to reach total exultation for committing murder and rape. The victim had their life prematurely taken from them so they will still have the chance in most cases to receive the full benefit of the Gospel of Christ and choose to follow him and have his forgiveness in the life to come, there by giving them the opportunity to have full exultation. The only case they would not get this kind of treatment would be very rare, just as rare as if the murderer getting forgiveness. It would be if they had already committed the unforgivable sin and most people cannot commit that sin due to the fact the Holy Ghost has not made them a sure witness of Christ.

No one who is able to rape and kill is capable of believing in God. Think about it. Don't be a retard. The only reason a rapist murderer would ask for forgiveness would be to get out of prison not hell.

You go to hell when you sin not when you die. Hell is when your reality becomes unbearable. I believe that once you die you lose the power to change your reality. No prayers or chants can undo a crime like that. The rapist goes to "hell," or probably more accurately has always been there, and the victim goes to the afterlife whatever that may be.

According to Christianity, that's exactly how it works.

I have actually encountered more resistance to the thought that the murderer can be forgiven that I have to the thought that the victim will be condemned.

And it is justifiable because God set the rules; made those rules known to the world through his messengers, prophets, and his Son; had those rules recorded in his Word, that we call the Bible; and has continued to make available for anyone who wants to know them.

The victim in your scenario, for whatever reason, did not follow God's conditions (which believe it or not are quite simple) and therefore reaps the consequences of their decision. Likewise, the murderer played by the rules (genuinely confessed and asked forgiveness of his sins) and therefore is saved.

It's justifiable because the Lord and Creator of the universe decided that's the way it should be. If I ever get to be lord and creator of my own universe, I can set my own rules then, but for now I gotta play by the rules of the universe I'm in.

Good question. They deny because they don't know the facts. Most of the subscribers here are interested in 2 points from Yahoo instead of seeking the truth. Unfortunately Muslim media is still non-existant or not so active to promote the facts about Quran or other Muslim activities. Islam is still a mystry for other faiths. What you understand and recall "the Proven scientific miracles of Quran" has not yet reached to them hence you should realize the knowledge and understanding of others before asking such questions. However I agree with your views.

Just asking for forgiveness is not enough and will not guarantee salvation for that murderer. And yes the unbeliever, regardless of how they die, if they die lost they will end up in hell. Everyone is given the chance to repent, And the fact that they chose not to take that chance is no ones fault but their own. They made their choice. A Bad one but it was theirs. As believers we are to be looking for the Return of Jesus at any moment and we are to live our lives as if today was the last one. Today is the day of Salvation not tomorrow, because tomorrow may not be here on Earth.

I think this proves the fact that most peoples only motivation to believe in God is the promise of Heaven and the Fear of Hell. Without Christianity or Hell Christianity would crumble. Murderers and Rapists are by far the weakest most selfish people on Earth and the only reason they claim to have found God is to keep their pathetic souls from burning in 'Hell'

The whole concept of Hell is sick and sadistic, but keep in mind that non-Christians DON'T WANT to spend eternity in Heaven with an immoral God who would create a place where his own children would be tortured. Hell would be preferable, no matter what it's like. The rape victim would be better off there than forced to spend eternity with her rapist, or married to him, as God requires.

This is just my personal opinion

I believe we are all born into this world pure and free of sin - however, God "blessed" us all with free will. That means we have the ability to be good people or bad people, and we ultimately choose the path we take. We are all responsible for our own deed's.

I believe when we die, we will be judged based on our deed's here on earth. On a scale: if our good deeds outweigh the bad we are permitted into paradise/heaven; likewise, if our bad deeds outweigh our good, then we are sent to hell.

I believe the only sin that God does not forgive is the worshiping of others alongside or in place of him.

This being said, I believe that God would forgive anyone if they asked for forgiveness sincerely before they died because God is merciful and kind.

In the case you represented - if the rapist asked for forgiveness and God forgave him. His admittance into paradise would depend on if he had done more good deeds then bad deeds in his life on earth.

In the case of the non-believer, it is a sad and tragic end but if they did not believe in God and had done nothing to secure their place in the next life - they will be judged accordingly. As we are responsible for our deeds, they would have had to make the effort to secure their belief in God to gain admittance into paradise.

It's funny reading the top Answer, not funny haha, but funny in a eerily familiar kinda way. Her justification is the same justification christians have used for torture and murder throughout the last two millenia. Hearing it alive and well in a contemporary form, and voiced by a female! (which it's never been attributed to before) is utterly disheartening.
