HECK NO
you can leave the house WITHOUT a dog. You can let them outside WITHOUT a 'parent'. You dont have to spoon feed them every bite, a dogs food comes in a bag and you just have to pour it. omg, the list goes on....

Well the difference with a dog and a baby is you can leave the house with the dog at home as long as you give the dog food and water dog will know where to go. As a baby you can't be leaving a baby alone cause for a baby don't know how to feed or change it's diaper not like a dog where it can just **** outside. And you should never leave a child alone. See a puppy knows what to do it knows how to eat and go to the bathroom a baby needs the help from the mother or father so to your answer no having a puppy ain't like having a baby

Kids are MUCH more difficult than dogs.
I raised 2 dogs from puppies and thought I would be well-prepared for my son. HA!
Dogs are easily out-smarted. Kids are just as smart as you are, but smaller. Dogs don't have hands. Kids learn how to use their hands to open things, break things, pry things open, push buttons on your computer etc from a young age. Dogs can be potty-trained in just a few weeks. Kids aren't usually potty-trained for a few years. Dogs can be left home alone, or locked in a kennel. Kids have to go everywhere you go for years, or else have to be supervised by a responsible adult 24/7/365 for the first 10-12 years of their life.
KIDS ARE REALLY REALLY HARD. I think you better get a vasectomy.

It might be. A baby is like having a puppy or an incredibly annoying dog- can't control when and what they excrete and you might find feces on your living room floor. Also, kinda same with toddlers - never shuts up and always causing trouble. So yes and no, because children will eventually learn to talk while dogs, no. Children will learn to communicate to you in a more complex way than -RUFF! (open door, i need to crap)-. They will either cry for a while or scream -MOMMA, MY TUMMY WANTS TO LET SOMETHING OUT!!-. If you need more help on children or dogs ask a dog trainer, a relative with a child or dog, a Parenting specialist, or go to your local library.

LOL!
It's kind of like that. But you don't breastfeed the dog.
Babies are constantly demanding attention, it's true. But to schedule a vasectomy over a pup...I'd say NAY!

YES! I've never had one, but my parents do, and she's just like my 3 yr. old! I can't remember anything right off hand, but there are many times I tell my parents she's just like a kid! She gets into things if you don't keep them up, she begs for food, etc, etc... Yes, you are exactly right. She also even gets sad without attention, like when nobody is home during the day.

Everything that that dog of your cousins does, my daughter does.
The difference, my dog was potty trained in 2 weeks, it took my daughter 6 months. Plus, you can put the dog in the kennel when it gets on your nerves. But don't get me wrong,. there is nothing like having a child. They are tons more work but also tons more reward.

Uh no, kids are much harder, but much more rewarding!!!!! And kids usually don't crap everywhere......babies do, but it is "usually" confined to a diaper.
