IF THERE IS A HEAVENLY POWER
THEN IT SHOULD BE SINGLE
AND THAT ABSOLUTE single POWER NEEDS NO HELP
coz IF A GOD NEEDS SOME BODY OR SOMETHING MATERIALISTIC ,THEN HE IS NOT A GOD
GOD NEEDS NOTHING ,
EXCEPT WORSHIPING HIM

God the Father begot Jesus from eternity, from his own godly "essence", in a manner that is otherwise unknown to us.

Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word: and the Word was with God: and the Word was God.
Joh 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.
Joh 1:3 All things were made by him: and without him was made nothing that was made.
Joh 1:4 In him was life: and the life was the light of men.
Joh 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness: and the darkness did not comprehend it.

Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us (and we saw his glory, the glory as it were of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth.

Joh 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time: the only begotten Son who is in the Bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

God the Holy Spirit is also of the same eternal godly "essence" as the Father and the Son, and proceeds from the Father and the Son.

God has provided no revelation other than this, of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Three divine and distinct persons who are eternally united, and who constitute the one, true God.

In christianity God has a son because Virgin Mary had no husband but she was pregnant and gave birth a single son only.So Jesus is called as the son of God.In islamic teaching
Jesus is only a human who has been appointed as the prophet for jews.God has omni power so God instructed Gabriel angel blew the spirit into the womb of Mary the daughter of Imran prophet.Mary with no husband and had no adultery, gave birth only a single son. called Isa Almaseh or Jesus.Along the history ,all prophets were male. There was no female prophet

If God manifested His "son" as a woman, do you think as many people would have paid attention to him in that day and age? Jesus was the spiritual "son" of God. But there are millions more that can be, if they so choose and in a way, all of us are. When He created Adam... that was His son... when a person comes back to God, in their heart, he or she is His "son" or child. How did God get a son??

The Father moved, and His word was carried because of His breath (Holy Spirit).

The Holy Spirit brought him into being...

See:

Genesis 2:7

Luke 1:35

God isn't male. God is a spirit and not utilising a physique. If something, God incorporates in Himself the essence of a feminine counterpart- i think of of each thing that exists as by some ability latest in God besides. Like this, God incorporates the two female and male in His essence, and He brings forth a Son, like how female and male have infants on the earth. The relatives unit reflects the Trinity. that's a secret, yet on the grounds that God isn't constrained via being of a single gender, it is not substantial that there isn't any female. exciting question. God bless and Merry Christmas

:) You sound like a muslim...
Well WE all are Children of GOD and so GOD does have children in Billions.

Now if you are thinking about Jesus as Son of GOD and raising question then you are so much offbase.

Jesus is Allah HIMSELF.
1: Look at muslims attempt to prove JEsus is Allah.
http://360.yahoo.com/allah_is_jesus
Mohamad and Parakletos /Paraclete: Muslims are trying whole heartedly to prove that the word "Paraclete" or "Parakletos" is used for Muhammad. But Muslims are proving that Allah is Jesus in the process. Check out: http://360.yahoo.com/allah_is_jesus

2: Look what JEsus says about HIMSELF.

Jesus said in John 8:23, 24 "you are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am HE (Allah), you will die in your sin."

3: What do you understand by Son of Abraham, Son of David, Son of Adam etc?
This is a way people were addressed in those days. Those are called titles just like King Arthur, the Lion Heart. Do you think Arthur had heart of a lion? (a muslim can think like that)

So STOP using your pea nut brain. LEARN what Christians are talking about. Come out of darkness and be in the light of Jesus Christ, the Saviour Allah. It is time for you know that 1+1+1=3 and 1x1x1=1. Learn multiplication.

May Jesus bless you.
PEACE.

The son was sent to be the living example and the sacrifice for us.

There was only a need for one perfect sacrifice. So that is why only one.

And why a son rather than a daughter, because a man is the head of the house and Christ as such is the head of the church. It is about authority.

He sent a son because at the time (even now) people would not accept a daughter of God.

He only sent one because it would have just been confusing to send 2 or 100 or million.

God knew that Jesus Christ was to be the one to save everyone. It only took one willing soul doing the job, not two or one hundred or millions. God just knew. Just as he knew that Mary could do it and would without question and that Joseph would not leave her upon finding out she was pregnant. Jesus was meant to be the savior.

- All three; God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit form into one figure in Heaven. Seperately God is as different from Jesus as Jesus is from the Holy Spirit but together they are the almighty in it's purest. Like I said in the message, everyone has their own understanding. What's yours? As long as you open your heart to Jesus and put your sins at his feet he will love you, he loves everyone they just have to want his love in return.

-Someone above said it, his only begotten son. Meaning one above the rest to save all when you break it down. We are all the children of God but Jesus was the only one sent to die for our sins.

I'm moved by the story of Jesus getting killed on a cross. I totally get it. He was passively resisting an oppressive state and a corrupt religion and was so serious about it that he took it all the way to the grave. I get that, that convinces me he was a holy man.

But seriously, how can you be dumb enough to believe that Mary was literally a virgin and pregnant at the same time? You believe that a corpse came to life? Come on, you can't tell me you really take that literally and believe it!??

.Matthew 1:18
[ The Birth of Jesus Christ ] This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 1:17-19 (in Context) Matthew 1 (Whole Chapter)
Matthew 1:20
But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.
