I don't belong to a particular association, at least as a paid member, but I've attended many multicultural and interfaith events. The more I can learn about the beliefs and practices of others, the better. Some of the local churches, particularly the Episcopal, Unity, and Unitarian Universalist churches, often sponsor interfaith programs, and several area universities sponsor multicultural events.

No, neither. i could say that the united kingdom is a manner of existence and faith tolerant u . s .. the real difficulty we've is the failure of a few immigrants to combine, who prefer to stay in closed communities and not socialise with the indigent inhabitants. there replaced right into a time while this u . s . replaced right into a good distance much less tolerant on non secular subjects with hangings, beatings and burnings being the order of the day depending on who replaced into on the Throne on the time - Catholic Mary and The Virgin Queen being 2 of them. we are tolerant yet we're not stupid. As for the different contributor who keeps to vomit disgusting issues regarding the British human beings in this website - i could say you're able to desire to renounce looking interior the mirror and analyzing sensationalist rubbish. do no longer you already know that's what sells tripe papers? To tripe human beings? and you're being racist - it extremely is unlawful.

Multi means many...
I can't say i was part of multi-religious family but i was certainly part of multi-religion society. We all belong to the society in which we live. We offer safety and love to everyone who are our neighbours. Even if we have different faith, we do not hate any one and that is sign of knowing truth.
The religious people of one faith will attempt to crush the people of different faith. Same happens in family.
So if you are part of multi-religious family then you will face opposition. BUT if you know Jesus as your Saviour Allah, you are on right path. HE will be with you and will answer your prayers.
Jesus said, " I am the way, the truth and the life. None can enter heaven except through ME."
Now you know the truth. Now you are safe.

Yes, I served in the US Navy for three years...we all got along just fine. The service seems to cut across all those old prejudices...and makes you appreciate one another.

No, not actively.
I took the religion quiz at beliefnet.com and it said that I was well suited for the Baha'i community. I haven't had a chance to look into it, but their website is very interesting.
