If a goodlooking guy asked you to coffee or lunch would you get upset? today I asked a nice looking women in her early 30's if she would like to have coffee some time and she said "thanks but no thanks' and walked off I was very nice and I'm told I'm a great catch so what gives? I looked for a ring first and she had no ring on any finger.

Yes, some women are like this. You just have to watch out for the ones that seem to be sending "not interested in you" signals, before you even approach them.
Of course, some of these are inadvertent, so don't automatically assume that they aren't interested. Nevertheless, it always helps to make some small talk before you go for setting up a date; that way, the woman you're asking will know that you won't be a complete waste of time, and she will be slightly less likely to flake out on you.

P.S. Sometimes I forget my ring at home, but I still remember that I am married. Don't worry about it. She did not mean to hurt your feelings, and she means nothing to you.
