recently my 2yo had a cold and stuffy nose, so i had to put a thin cushion underneath his head and neck (some elevation to help ease the stuffy nose) he seemed ok with it, n i wonder when we should intro. toddler/junior pillow to him?

while still in a crib you can put the pillow under the mattress to prop it up making it easier to breath (I had to do this many times). At 2 years old though he should be just fine with a pillow. They usually recommend waiting until 1 year atleast to introduce the pillow because before can be suffocation risk but the pediatrician told me that until child is out of the crip don't use a pillow on top of the mattress. The toddler/junior pillows are great for kids but make sure it is enough to push him up. Some of those pillows are very poofed up so they don't put them up enough. I remember my babies sleepin in the baby swing when they were congested before I could introduce the pillows to the bed (except under mattress). I also spent a lot of time holding them in rocking chairs and on the couch while they were stuffy.

I gave them a pillow when they went into their toddler bed. I use the travel size pillows and buy the zippered pillow cases that match.

I introduced a pillow at around 18 months for both kids. It is quite safe by then to use one. You can buy a kids pillow (which I have for both kids) they are thinner. You can get them from K-mart, Target, any major department store. Tontine made the one I have, I bought it from K-Mart.
