Do plants contain electrolytes?

"An electrolyte is a substance containing free ions that behaves as an electrically conductive medium." So every cell, including plant cells, contains electrolytes because every cell has ions like sodium, chloride and potassium (which are ions) in the intracellular solution, which is basically water.
