Usually males can drink 2 standard drinks per hour and for women it is one standard drink per hour to keep you under the limit. It also depends on the individual. A larger woman can probably get away with 2 drinks in the hour where as a really petite woman may not be under the limit on one drink. Also, you should have a glass of soft drink or water in between each alcoholic drink. You also need to eat to absorb some of the alcohol.
Hope this helps and have a great time at the party. Have a drink for me!!!
Cheers ☺♥☼

There's a PSA on TV here (on a military base overseas) that says the magic formula for drinking is 0 * 0 * 1 * 3:

0 drinks if you're under 21
0 drinks if you're driving
1 drink per hour
3 drinks, maximum, per night

That said, I think it really depends on your crowd. Some might be heavy beer drinkers that can down a 6- or 12-pack each. Some might have only one or two. If I had no idea what the drinking styles were of my guests, I'd probably just follow that formula and get enough for each person to drink three.

The amount before you are legally intoxicated?
The amount before you feel the effects of the alcohol content?
The amount a body can hold?
The amount before passing out, getting sick or dieing?

Each of these are dependant on the individual. Heigth, weight, ethnicity, altitude from sea level, general health, state of mind and tolerance will effect anyone consuming alcohol.

Yes, there are a lot of factors, some I haven't listed.

If you haven't drank before and intend to at the party, give up your keys to someone who is responsible and willing to take you home and better yet, keep an eye on you while you are there. Drinking alcohol isn't for everyone don't ever listen to anyone who tells you otherwise, they are lying.

If you don't drink, take a few moments and ask yourself if you really need to or want to. You aren't missing anything by not drinking and you certainly run the fewest risks compared to people who do drink. Never let someone goad you into a drink. Never accept a drink from someone you don't know. Never drink from a container you haven't had in your possession from the time it was served.

Remember this: Drinking is a choice. Be responsible to yourself, your family and your friends no matter what your final decision may be.

If you choose to drink, stay with one and think about how it makes you feel while drinking and for every moment after until it is completely out of your system. Each drink after the first will magnifiy the effects you feels. As you continue, those feelings will change and so will your ability to make judgements safely.

If the crowd at the party presses you to drink, leave. No one who cares for you will ever, ever pressure you to drink. They don't have your best interests at heart.

I'm not preaching. I've seen it from all sides. The one I liked the least was the one that left me to tell my best friends mother and father that their son was killed trying to make it home one night after having gone out of town to party with a bunch of guys from his college.

it all depends on the person. A persons weight as well as how much they usually drink affects it. A 300 lb man will take more to get drunk than a 100 lb girl. in twenty years of constant drinking, it will a person a lot mor alcohol to get the same buzz they did when they first started

That is little tough to tell you, because it depends on enviroment, company and etc.. the normal men can have 6-7 can and women could have 4-5 can. But it could be vary. So take average 6 can per head.

Although in general, men can consume more than women with fewer effects, tolerance certainly does vary - by weight, or how recently one has eaten, for example.

The average person can consume one alcoholic drink per hour without becoming intoxicated. Here is an interesting website on the matter:

I drink two beers and I can feel it, but I don't really drink that often......

I was at my wife's friend's 40th and she had all this liquor and beer set out in coolers, but that was in Vegas. I didn't touch them, since I had to drive home later. My wife will drink maybe one, but not even finish it and she thinks that she is tipsy......LOL....

It depends on what you are used to, for me, it doesn't take much, but I am also lighter than anyone else around.....
