It's my understanding that it is the leaves on the tree that separate the C from the O in CO2 (photosynthesis) which releases oxygen. I think the answer is that a "leafy" tree is better....maybe a fast growing tree that prodices more leaves faster.
I think algae is actually more effective than trees.

Weeds outperform trees any day of the week for oxygen production.
As far as just trees; any is good. Evergreens work year round. But oak or maple give good fall color as well as O2. Dogwoods have sweet smelling flowers in the spring. So much to choose from. O2 production is difficult to say exactly so go for what you like.
And guess which one produces the most oxygen; the one that is illegal.

A native tree would be best because even if you get the tree with the highest oxygen output it might not be able to grow in the climate you live in. Also, no-one knows the tree that has the highest oxygen output. One that grows fast and has large, broad leaves would be good though.

Algae,
For the space, the food required and the CO2 converted to O2 the best plant to do it are algae.
If you insist in using a tree then the huge redwoods do the most work of any three, simply because of their size.

I would guess, simply the larger the tree...the more oxygen.

I'm thinking a good sturdy Oak. They get nice and big, grow for a hundred+ years and have big leaves.
A Maple would be my 2nd guess. They have really big leaves too.

IT IS VERY SIMPLE WHICH TREE HAS LARGE LEAVES SO ITWOULD HAVE MORE CHLOROPHYLL SO MOPRE PHOTOSYNTHESIS AND MORE PHOTOLYSIS WHERE 02 RELEASE MORE OK BYE HAVE GODAIR FOR GOOD BREATH FOR BETTER LIFE
