I've read about the Russian family, and that was with different fathers..

Sorry if my question was hard to understand.

The Guiness Book put it at I believe 49 by a Russian woman and her husband? There is no way in hell anybody can prove any of this if any of the individuals involved are dead and to decomposed for DNA. What are the odds that someone could ever remain that loyal to one individual? I know one thing for sure, the record will never be set in Arkansas! By the way I am THE ALL AMERICAN!!!! Oh yeah sorry I couldn't give you an exact, precise answer. My mother in law had 15 brothers and sisters that lived to adulthood (one set of quads), two more were stillborn for a grand total of 18 from one woman and one man. Like I said it's real easy to slip around and happens all the time here in Arkansas. You wouldn't believe all the men raising other mens children with there wife of record. Yeah I think that one gal below is right, the record was 69. I think?

Grandmother...it is you with the low IQ, the answer is perfectly easy to understand

I saw this question posted last week... The largest number of children born to one woman is recorded at 69. From 1725-1765, a Russian peasant woman gave birth to 16 sets of twins, 7 sets of triplets, and 4 sets of quadruplets.

lol, TLC had a special on a family with 17 kids, same mom and dad. they were in the news recently because the lady just had the 17th kid. the Duggar's. Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar.
But the most i ever heard was a lady and man who had 21 kids, but I must have gotten that from a movie.

There was a family in the 1770s, the woman gave birth to about 50 kids, I forget the exact amount.

Only two kids died in infancy, most of the kids were twins, triplets, or quads.

My Nanna was one of thirteen and most families of her generation and about ten to fifteen children on average but since a young person can start having children at 11 and finish at 40... thats a lot of babies!!
And in India, 5 yr old children get married.

well ...families used to be bigger and there was no divorce! So probably 20 would be perfectly believable. Do you mean surviving children? So many used to die from common disease by today's standards, think back to before penicillin and vaccinations.

My grandmother had 22 and raised them all. Today I have 75 fist cousins. It's a hell of a party when we all get together.
