About Kirk....?

My last question asked to name atheist "big shots" aka famous atheists...and many people were telling me not to "brag about Kirk" and "Kirk is a source of amusement of us"...well I wasn't bragging about Kirk, nor was I bragging about The Pope nor Mother Tereasa....because I'm not catholic....but guess what..you knew all the people I mentioned didn't you?

Also why do people hate Kirk? I only know he does internet ministry(or something) and was on Growing Pains and has LOTS of kids...so why do they hate him, because he's spreading God's word and is doing what God told him? I mean, wasn't he an atheist and then converted(I don't know the whole story)?

So which of my people were you not familiar with- The Dalai Lama or Einstein? Yes I was familiar with your list because I am intelligent. If you are not familiar with the people we listed, perhaps you need to spend more time at the library and less time on YA!
BTW- I only knew Kirk Cameron because my brother called me when Way of the Master was on and said "you need a good laugh?" I don't hate him, I just have a problem with anyone who tries to shove their beliefs down my throat.

Because Kirk is a moron and a liar. He's just another washed-up actor trying to make a buck on the Jesus franchise. He claims to have objective proof that God exists, when it's just the same old fallacious Aquinas arguments that have been debunked for centuries, and he actively tries to promote a misunderstanding of science. Kirk's probably one of those born-again Christians who'd say being Catholic isn't "good enough", by the way.

And the fact that you can name more famous Catholics is no more to the point that I can name more famous white people than famous Aborigines. Does the term "per capita" mean anything to you?

Kirk Cameron is a washed-up nobody who did some time on a crappy TV show and found Jesus. The result of all this is that his brain cells only function at the simplistic level of a not-very-bright five year old child. I mean, the guy thinks BANANAS prove the existence of God! Are we really expected to take him seriously? If this is the best Christianity can produce, then the future of their religion is doomed. Good riddance to it, I say.

I know it might seem funny what kirk is doing but in reality I believe in God because of him, people don't hate him its just atheists because most of what kirk asks them cannot be answered and he actually makes since.

Kirk is a dismal person. He alienated his cast mates. Now he promotes flagrant lies for a living. He had a big ego and no sense or right and wrong, then became a Christian with a big ego and no sense of right and wrong.

Atheists don't Like him because his ministry is being very effective at spreading the word....it is not his celebrity status....it is his conviction and his strong faith...people can see that and want to know more...He also has an incredible strength and peace about him....Someone who God called and he answered....God equips those he calls....

Why do atheists,anti-christians and liberal "religious" people only attack christians?I have been on R&S a long time and yet to see a post that had facts to disprove God,Jesus or anything from the bible.
