I have looked this up twice, and found it twice. Unfortunately, it doesn't show up when I use search engines and the like. It's in the New Testament. Corinthians, maybe?

The gist is that "church" means congregation, and although it is helpful and strongly encouraged, it isn't a requisite to getting into Heaven.

nowhere in the bible does it say to go weekly.

Hebrews 10:
25Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Read:
Eph 2:8-9

John 3:15-21
Matt 24-25
Romans 1,3,6,10

Hebrews 10:24, 25 says "do not forsake the gathering of yourselves together as some have the custom." Why? It goes on to say, " to incite one another to love and fine works." In the first century God's true Christians gathered regularly to read the bible and encourage one another. The importance however lies in meeting at the right place, a place that has God's blessing and the Christ is head over. Not every place of worship is acceptable to God, therefore he is not with them.

Read: Luke 12:32 , Revelation 14:1-3, Revelation 7:4-8... concerning who goes to heaven.

Revelation 7:9,10 speaks of an earthly hope. Read Matthew 5:5, 2 Peter 3:13. Psalms 37:11

I could be wrong on this, but we meet weekly because that was the Jewish tradition, synagoge on Saturday. Somewhere along the line it got changed to Sunday (God never changed the Sabbath day, man did) The only requisite to getting into heaven is:
Eph 2:8-9 For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

That's it, period. As for the meeting together, or congregation:
Heb 10:25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

So we should do it, but you don't lose your salvation if you dont

Who said it does? Most everything you see on tv or in mainstream religions is unbiblical. What you will find repeatedly in Scripture is a call to Believers to come out of [spiritual]Babylon. To be separate. To be overcomers.A remnant group of Believers in the Last Days. Not joiners of JR.Catholicism.which is what Protestantism is in actuality. The ekklesia is comprosed of two or more Believers gathered in Christ's name.It has never been about a building or traditions of men.Paul made that exceedingly clear throughout the epistles.

I only remember the Scriptures stated not to forsake the assembly with other believers ( Hebrews 10:25). The early Christians met as often as they wanted too.

Thats true, but going to church "fills your fuel tank" and makes it easier to get through the week. Jesus also said that where 3 or more gather in his name, he will be there.

As far as I know, the bible doesn't address the issue at all. But it doesn't matter; heaven is a fiction.
