in other words Fate brings people together.

Better 6 billion to choose from than (10). I think you're assuming there's only one in six billion. It's probably more like 600 million soulmates to choose from. More people more soulmates. Humans are much more alike than different. Mahalo!
ps - what were your chances if you had been born 100 years ago and there were 1 billion?. or 2000 years ago and there were1 million? Looking at the glass as half empty will cut down on your percentages. "Don't worry, be happy" and someone will want to be happy with you!

I believe we have more than one soul-mate, so if one decides they don't want to be with you, then there are others who will want to be with you.

Out of over 6.6 billion people, how can you believe there would be only be ONE ideal person for you? There are infinite possibilities with that number, so be more open-minded about it all, broaden your outlook on these matters, but do not let your brain fall out of your head.

Use your common sense. Why on earth would you want to be with a person who you are momentarily perceiving as "the one", who may or may not want to be with you?

Don't fall into the trap of being a masochist with yourself.

You do not have to put up with other people's crap or games for the sake of love, no matter what anyone says to you.
Love will bring that regardless as a part of life, so why make things harder for yourself by focusing on ONE person?

Start thinking about possibities, choices and free will. This will naturally attract those people who are resonant to you and your natural personality and who are more likely to be ONES who you can be with on your life journey.

Be the master of your own life and stop getting sucked into new age ideologies which may or may not be true.

I hope this helps.

Fate, destiny, a greater power.

I hope one or all of the above exists. I think there are plenty of people out there who dont get to meet their soul mates. Keeping an active social life will help you get out there and find him/her.

I try not to think about it..its a bit depressing.

well, first, if you are heterosexual (boys like girls and girls like boys) then you can rule out about 3.3 billion of them. and if you only speak english, you can rule out even more. haha.

okay, on a serious note, i have no idea! i am a Christian and believe in God, and i believe that he will help me find the person i am supposed to be with, as long as i am listening to Him and not myself.
