will this be ok? i take a cotten pad and put rubbing alchohol on it. and clean my face where there is pimples, after that i wet my face with water, then apply my clean&clear facewash and rub it on my face with the water. so my skin can stay soft, and not dry out from the alchohol, then i give my face a couple splashes to get it all the stuff off.i after that when the face wash is all gone, i splash my face with just water then i dry my face. is this ok?

Well, how does your skin feel after you wash it? I would not recommend the rubbing alcohol. It dries your skin too much.
I would recommend first washing your face with room temp. water lightly, then use your face wash. I used Clean&Clear as well and I noticed it dried my skin out, so I switched to Clinique. It's expensive so I would recommend Cetaphil face cleanser (you can find them at any Target or Walmart). It works well as a gentle cleanser and it's great for sensitive skin (my old roommate loved it). I wash my face lightly and try not to rub down on pimples. Rinse off the cleanser and lightly pat your skin dry with a clean towel.
After, I would recommend toning. I prefer using witch hazel (it's next to the rubbing alcohols in stores) on a cotton pad, preferably over the oily areas. Afterwards, moisturize! I'm not sure which is best (depends on whether your skin is oily/dry), but for problem areas with acne, I would recommend a moisturizer with salicylic acid. Or, for quick jobs, I use Clean&Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment to zap annoying little pimples away. I use Cetaphil daily moisturizer with SPF 15 in it. When choosing one, try to find one which best suits your skin (normal/oily/dry/sensitive).

1] use face wash, toner, sunscreen, and moisturizerfor your skin type.
2] wash, tone, and sunscreen in AM; wash, tone, and moisturize in PM
3] wash hands. Wet face. Apply facewash to hands, spread it out, and scrub face with pads of fingers - gently, but all over face. Rinse with twice as many splashes as you think you need. [ or rinse in shower at bathtime ] Blot your face dry.
4] exfoliate with Aapri or St. Ives Apricot scrub [ for your skin type ] every two days.

oh my gosh..are you trying to kill your skin??? rubbing alcohol??? wow..im a skin freak..and u need to not put that on ure skin! for pimples...use something like apple cider vinegar...u can get it at a food store or wherever..and rub that on ure face with a cotton swab every night and morning...then after....buy a good lotion like eucerin(smells gross..works wonders)...or olay for really dry skin..its purple...then go to sleep..wake up ..do the same thing...clean and clear will make you break out more...it SUCKS..ive tried ALOT of things. do not wash ure face with hot water..or warm water...always cold water...it prevents ure skin breakouts. ..unless ure in the shower...then it opens ure pores and its fine...just not otherwise...anyways...then dry ure face with a soft towel..nothing harsh or dirty obviously...sorry to just go off but i get excited telling people the methods that have worked for me and a bunch of other people iknow that follow.

Does it work? Do you get irritations? Is it prescribed? Did other people recommend it? There are a lot of variations.
Good luck though!

yea that sounds good, but i would pat dry your face, its more gentle on sensitive areas like where there are pimples.
