yes, only Sailors are SEALs. If you want to be an enlisted SEAL< go enlisted( you have unlimited chances to get through BUD/s, assuming you qualify in the first place) Officers Get ONE shot at BUD/s, that's it.

and just because you have a 4 year degree does NOT Mean you will be accepted for a Commission, let alone a shot at BUD/s.

All SEAL personnel are Navy. You have to be accepted for a commission, sworn in and complete OCS before being commissioned. Then you have to apply and be accepted for training with the SEALS. BUDS training comes first, either at Coronado California or Little Creek Virginia. After BUDS you enter training to be certified to be assigned to a team.

No you do not have to be in the Navy to be a seal. You can be in the Marines and go to Buds. 7 year Marine vet. Also you could do force Recon with the corps

lawl..how can u be a seal without being in the navy..then u wouldnt be a NAVY seal
