ok, i live in pennsylvania with my aunt and my mom, 2 little sisters, step dad, and step brother live in virginia.....Well when ever they come up to visit my little sister (seneca) always bugs me 2 the point where i yell at her, no matter what its always me who gets in trouble because my mom always takes her side! Seneca doesn't just do it to me....she does it to Sammi (my other sis), Cody (my step brother), and our older cousins (caleb and alec) but she never gets in trouble....its always one of us....my mom is the only one who's in "denial" about the way my sister acts while everyone else already knows. the worst part is i was supposed 2 go to virginia this week to stay with my mom but seneca came up 4 the weekend and got me in trouble so i couldn't go! Is there anyway for me to make my mom realize that its Seneca who starts all the sh*t and not us!?

(oh and i'd just like to say....all the other adults believe me, my sis, my step bro, and our cousins and never her)

my mom used to do the same thing to me also.
Even if it is something that she did.
They told me, when I got older, that I was the older one, so they were harder on me.
When she did something wrong, I got in trouble for it because they said I should have told her not to do it.
They want you to be a good rolemodel for your younger sister.. you are the older child.. you should know better.

You know I know what your going through. MY mom was like that too. Only with believing the bullies in my neighborhood as a child I had a hard time. A lot of punishments for doing nothing at all. From experience the best thing to do is have a one on one with your mother. Tell her how much this is bothering you. For me, I didn't speak up until my teen years. But, trust me it's best to get it over with. You'll never know until you really try. I hope I could help you out. ~Robyn

My mom does the same thing. I just ignore my brother and if he is poking me I just let him do it. If you ignore him long enough, they will go away. Also, if you just sit there and she is poking you and your mom walks in, it won't be your fault, because you didn't do anything. And no matter how much pain, just ignore. I have gotton like 2 black eyes, but in the end he got in trouble. hehe

one thing your mom is just probably more protective of your little sister
trust me, i know my brother acts.. well in your description, exactly the same
ugh its annoying isn't it?
my best solution for it is to not talk to her at all
ignore your sister
works for me
then sometimes.. he just starts like tapping on his cup or whatever and makes annoying sounds
i just move out of the room and do something else away from him
