It's not OK and it is not legal (by movie theater laws), but I always do it. Movie snacks are just way too expensive. Of course I am not going to waltz in there with KFC, DQ, BK, or TGIF, but I will bring my own twizzlers, and other snackable type stuff that resembles what they sell. The way I see it, once the lights go off, prove to me that these are not your twizzlers. The only thing I do is buy a drink from them, to share with whoever I go to the movies with. If they don't want me bringing my own stuff, they shouldn't charge me 4 dollars for a pack of twizzlers that I can buy from wally world for 75 cents.

I do this, I sneak my very own jelly toddlers into the cinema each and every time i pass, just to make a element that i'm no longer paying their stupid stupid expenditures. i think of it against the regulations - yet bare in strategies that putting is now abolished. The worst that they are in a position to do is ban you from using their theatre or cinema. I rather have heard that they might confiscate your sweats and so on, even though it is not a offender offence to sneak sweats in. Topping all of it, I even provide my sweats to human beings around me me too - freed from fee of direction. The business enterprise are making a real killing besides charging a great quantity for get right of entry to interior the 1st place. ingesting your guy or woman sweats isn't any huge deal. that's approximately time those Nazi run locations have been given actual.

I bring (hidden)snacks for the family & splurge on drinks at the theater. I am not positive if it is "illegal" but I am sure it is frowned upon. You definitely dont want to brag about it and you should still support the theater with some extra purchases (like occasional drinks & candy)!

At my theater there's a sign saying "no outside food or drinks allowed." But I always bring something to snack on and to drink(in my purse). They never check...so i don't see what the problem is. They just want you to buy the stuff thats so expensive.

Its not illegal to do so, but if you're caught, they'll take it from you.

Depends on the theater. Some do allow you to bring outside foods.

The ones that don't a large purse comes in handy. Then all you have to buy is popcorn.

Call and ask

It isn't illegal.....yet at least. It's only a matter of time before we have our bags searched before we can enter the theater. I'll miss not spending 6 dollars for Red Vines and water.

I don't think you're supposed to. But I've done it a couple times when I'm broke, because I don't want to pay 4 bucks for a medium pop and 4 more for a candy snack. But lately, I've been paying for the stuff they sell there.

Bringing your own snacks to the theatre is not illegal. The theatres want you to buy their food so they can make more money. Your bringing in food eats away at their profits! (now that's funny!)
