Carob, or peanut butter chips. Hazelnut puree. Perhaps butterscotch or white chocolate

Have you heard of Nutella? It is a German nut-spread, similiar to peanut butter, but made with hazelnuts. Or, I would just try peanut butter. I am not allergic to chocolate, but I actually prefer my smores this way.

By the way, you can find nutella at most supermarkets, by the peanut butter.

Use cherry, coffee, yogurt, peanut butter, cinnamon, caramel, carob or mint-flavored chips and a complementary extract in place of the chocolate.

I would say carob is the closest thing to chocolate, but i'm not sure if it would melt like chocolate.
