Absolutely nothing wrong with it. My fiance is 13 years my senior and we have a great relationship. We mesh. It has nothing to do with him being a horny old pervert (he's 39, I'm 26), we just get along.
People seem to have a bullshit misconception that older man + younger woman = sex only. Wrong. Some men genuinely interested in younger women, others simply end up in their relationships like I did.

To be honest with you that is really between you and him. I mean not all older guy younger woman relationships are all the same. I mean some do go for the younger women for sex. But so is the younger woman after his wallet so they feel that putting out a little bit to get what they want isn't such a big deal. But that isn't true for all couples. Same way with some older guys just dating younger women to make their older friends jealous because they have a hot young "trophy" woman. But again not all couples are like this either. There are even some older guys that aren't as mentally mature and the younger women are on their mental level of just having fun and being young all the time. Still this is not always true for every couple. And lastly there are just some older guy younger women couples that are together, because they genuwinely have found common interests in one another. No one is being used for money or sex or whatever. Its a true relationship. Now from all of what I have said here, have to really decide where your relationship falls, if you care to. But those are my reasons for thinking that a older guy would get together with a younger woman.

I think sometimes it's the other way around. Younger women want to date older guys. I think that this is because women are looking for stability, younger guys don't have this. They are too immature and not ready to settle down and figure out what they want to accomplish in life. Older guys (most of them anyway) pretty much have this worked out.

Older or younger makes no difference as the saying goes love is blind and has no boundaries. Age should not be a factor as long as the choice is right. You are the best person to gauge if the man is right or not. If it is the right choice then treasure it.

The nine years is not the issue, but how old he is and you are, is! All men like "eye candy" fresh, young-looking sexy girls to make us feel young and virile again. Girls sometimes are looking for father- substitutes. So the age difference is not the issue.
