I would sooner try to explain quantum physics to my dog than to explain the big bang and evolution to a person who does not want to learn and would hold onto his assumptions no matter how much proof was given to refute those assumptions.

>>Why do you think God dosnt exist?
I don't know if he does or doesn't.
>>Have you ever created something out of nothing?
Yes...ideas.
>>If you did, i'd like to see that because I know you havent.
I, uh, just said I did. Why can't you believe it.
>>Everything is created out of something, even the earth. And that something is God.
So, my ideas are created out of God?
>>Don't say it was dust or a bang or energy because all of those things have to be created.
Okay
>>And no don't ask who created God either because he was always there, he had the power to create himself.
Whoa...you say everything was created by God, but we can't ask who created God, because a) he was always there and b) had the power to create himself? Why can't we ask who created God, because the rest of your sentence contradicts itself, and it's natural for people to question contradictory statements.
>>God is the answer
To which question?
>>he created all and everything, AND he saved you from your sin. If you ask him to forgive he will, and he always will love you.
Well, I'll thank him, if you can provide evidence that I will at least get to meet him at some point.
>>He is not based on science but neither are you're beliefs.
Half of this statement is the most honest thing you've typed ("He is not based on science...") God is not based on science, he is supernatural (if he exists), and therefore out of the realm of any science (currently). Any theologian that tells you differently is pulling your leg. The other half is nonsense, because you don't know my beliefs.
>>Because all your therioes are nonsense, they just lead to more ?'s.
Why do you have to insult people by calling their theories nonsense? And what is wrong with theories leading to more questions? Why does everything have to have an answer?
>>Trust me if you take the time to find Jesus you will feel him with you.
I've been "saved" twice in my life now, and I don't think either of them stuck...I honestly believed that I "felt" Jesus within me (more properly, the Holy Spirit), but I still have a very hard time accepting all the dogma of the Christian church based on some of the irrational things I've seen *all* of them do/believe in.
>>I know you cant create anything out of nothing, the only person with the power to is God, something cannot be created with a force, and that force is God.
Ummm...I already said I have created something from nothing (an idea). If you can't believe me, since I created it, but it cannot be felt, touched, tasted, sat upon, experimented on, etc., why can you believe that someone/something else did?
>>So explain now why you don't believe he is there?
Well, I hope I've covered it with my exortations of all your comments.
I'm honestly not trying to pick on you. I only make these statements to make you think about what you are saying. There is nothing wrong with questioning things and thinking for yourself. Stagnation, in my opinion, especially of thought, is the worst sin.

I try to be caring and understanding, but you just had to take it that extra step.
"Everything is created out of something, even the earth. And that something is God."
"And no don't ask who created God either because he was always there, he had the power to create himself."
Do you have any idea how idiotic that sounds? Go ahead, reread it yourself a couple of times. No, he wouldn't have the power to create himself because he doesn't rutting exist in the first place! If he isn't even created yet, how in the world is he going to create himself? As I said, I will sit here and try to take the view I'm reading into account and see where it's coming from, but what you just put out there is the single, most ridiculous load of crap ever to be dished out.
And, here come the violations.

O.K, I am not even going to dignify your question with an intelligent answer because I really don't think you could grasp the concept of such. I will however say this GET OVER YOURSELF! You think you and you alone have got the right idea about religion, well guess what, until we walk around identical like a bunch of mindless drones there is going to be a difference of opinion about everything, including religion. That is why we are INDIVIDUALS. We like to decide for ourselves what to believe, not be told how to live by others, who think they know what is best for us. You can throw your whole "I know you cant create anything out of nothing" rant at us all you want, it is not going to change our minds.
Blessed Be )o(

For Patriot 4913...." Gravity is a theory"...,
We cannot yet explain it but it is certainly more than a theory.
Try jumping off a building without a parachute.
It ios a fact.
Even satn knows this because when he was tempting Jesus, he asked Jesus
to jump off a cliff and have his father, Jehovah God, rescue him.
Of course, Jesus refused on the ground of not putting Jehovah to the test.
The story indicates that while Jesus was on earth as a man, he was subject to physical laws.
Gravity certainly acted on his fleshly body.
So even the son of God proves gravity exists.

There is no evidence at all there is any god, let alone yours in particular.
And see the problem with saying you can't create something from nothing is that implies an eternal universe or else you still have to explain how god did it. You don't get a free pass because you add a step, with no evidence. And quite frankly that shows that you don't understand the modern scientific theories at all, because they don't ever say that.

Wow, must be nice to have it both ways.
You say "Everything is created out of something" then you say "god has always existed." Which is it? Can't be both.
You've just fooled yourself into believing something that doesn't hold up to reason. You discount science on a computer that developed with science.
(spelling error - "you're beliefs" should be spelled "your beliefs". Spell check won't catch those errors)

I have never created something out of nothing.
That fact has very little to do with whether I believe in God or not.

Hilarious. Just because I can't create something out of nothing does not prove the existance of god. You argue your own logic when you write "And no don't ask who created God either because he was always there, he had the power to create himself."
Do you have any clue how childish you sound? Talk about giving us a stacked deck. Basically you are saying that since we can't create any materials ex nihilo god can.
BTW - The Big Bang theory does not claim that the Universe was created from nothing. All the Big Bang Theory claims is that prior to the actual explosion all known matter was located at a single point or singularity.
As for why I don't believe he exists:
Because he doesn't. I would no more let a doctor who practice medine from 2,000 years ago treat my illnesses. Why would I let someone who believes a book written almost that long ago tell me how to live my life? The very concept is insane. Second, have you ever actually read the bible? It's so full of contradictions it's almost laughable if it weren't fo rthe fact that so many people blindly believed it.
Just take the example of eternal life. Did you know that the Bible itself proves that NO ONE CAN GET INTO HEAVEN!
What's more is I'll prove this using Jesus' own words taken directly from the Bible!
Luke; Chapter 10: 25 - 29
On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. "Teacher," he asked, "what must I do to inherit eternal life?" "What is written in the Law?" he replied. "How do you read it?" He answered: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'" "You have answered correctly," Jesus replied. "Do this and you will live." But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?"
Jesus goes on to say that "The one who had mercy on him." is the neighbor. Basically, Jesus is saying that we are all neighbors to each other.
Okay, treat everyone nicely and with compassion and you will get eternal life.
Unfortunately it seems that in Luke 14 Jesus was having a bad day.
Luke 14:26-27
If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters—yes, even his own life—he cannot be my disciple. And anyone who does not carry his cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.
What a second? First Jesus says that we must honor the commandments and love strangers as our neighbors in order to receive eternal life and yet now we are being told that we must hate our family and ourselves in order to be his disciple? How can we honor our mother and father (one of the Big 10) and hate them at the same time? What's going on here?
Further in Luke we see:
Luke 18:18-30
A certain ruler asked him, "Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?" "Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good—except God alone. You know the commandments: 'Do not commit adultery, do not murder, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother.'" "All these I have kept since I was a boy," he said. When Jesus heard this, he said to him, "You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." When he heard this, he became very sad, because he was a man of great wealth. Jesus looked at him and said, "How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God! Indeed, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." Those who heard this asked, "Who then can be saved?" Jesus replied, "What is impossible with men is possible with God." Peter said to him, "We have left all we had to follow you!" "I tell you the truth," Jesus said to them, "no one who has left home or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God will fail to receive many times as much in this age and, in the age to come, eternal life."
So now it gets' trickier. Now not only must you follow the commandments but you must also give all your possessions to the poor. That means:
Your home.
Your car.
Your clothes.
Your tv.
Your ipod.
Your computer.
Your dvd's.
Everything. Well, at least Jesus is in a better mood now.
Now, the next steps for eternal life are found in John, Chapter 6; verses 53 - 56.
Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him.
Hold up. Wait just a second here. Eat flesh? Drink blood? What is this? Some sort of death cult? Was Hale-Bop in the sky when this was written?
These are Jesus' words and they contradict themselves. What's great is that so many people follow the tenet that the word of Jesus is the word of god and god is perfect so if god is perfect so must his word be perfect.
The only thing the bible gets' [erfect is how utterly confusing it is.
And that is how I know that god does not exist. No all-powerful, all-knowing entity would allow his children to run around with such a clear lack of direction. And if he is real then he is a negligent parent and I have no need for those.
The bible is a joke and if the bible is the word of god and god is perfect then the word of god is also perfect which means that god too is a joke.
Read the bible. Really read it and try to think for yourself.

If you can suppose that God's always been around, is it too much to suppose that perhaps matter and energy in varying forms have always been around? If you're going to assume that there's -something- that's always been around, why is there any need to posit the existence of God?

The Big Bang theory Can't prove evolution because of the missing transitional stages! the transitional fossils we have on record are of complete animals and not the in between stages. I can't believe people believe in what is supposed to be a scientific GUESS~!, Charles Darwin said that if the fossils weren't found within 100 years of his claim then his whole theory is to be dis-proven. 100 hundred years later the fossils haven't been found.. Thank you and hold your applause because God did create us!
