It seems like lately only men that have girlfriends or are married seem to be interested in me. I just want to find somebody to be with that is going to make me smile and be happy is that so much to ask for?

Yes. It's not up to the guy to make you happy. You should not put your self-worth, your self-value and your happiness on a person. It's up to you to make yourself happy. The significant other is a person to journey through life with you, not serving you.

Guys with wives or girlfriends...? You must be giving off an "unavailable (there for safe)" vibe.
Try not to expect anything, good or bad, when talking to guys, its noticeable in demeanor. as is bitterness.
