if blood is pouring out then it is most likely something more serious than hemorrhoids and it affects the your colon most likely since you can see the blood. If it is very painful and no stool (feces) is passing through ,then it might be indicative of colon cancer. It can also be a tear in your colon

It sounds like you may have internal hemorrhoids that will require banding. Internal hemorrhoids are worse than external ones. They need to be taken care of asap if they are bleeding heavily.
If the bleeding is mild start taking more fiber like metamusil capsules or eating plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables along with salads & beans.
If the blood is bright red, this is fresh blood and if you are losing an ounce or more at a time, & this is non stop whenever you go to the restroom, contact your doctor immediately!
Dark rusty looking blood is old blood.
Are you experiencing any light headedness or fainting with the blood loss? If so drink some Orange Juice or some other type of fruit juice, just as people do after they have donated blood at the hospital blood bank. Be sure t keep your fluid intake up.
Your doctor may need to schedule you for a sigmoidoscopy to see what is going on.
Depending on your age, how long the bleeding has been going on and the quantity of the blood they may want to do a colonoscopy.

My brother bleed when he had bowel movements too. His hemoglobin went down to 7 when it's supposed to be 12. They took him to the docyors and he has crohns disease. It's an uncurable disease where your body attacks your bowel and they have different medicine to keep it under control. He however got it when he was 3 years old and you can get it at any age but it is uncommon to see it in younger kids usually it shows up when your around 20 or so. and my brother has to take 1 shot a week, get an IV once a month and he takes 2 pills twice a day to keep it under control. Does your stomach hurt? It could also be ulcerative colidus, which is curable but requires a very painful surgery, it could also be a polups (not sure how to spell it) Those can be cured very easily. Point blank is that you need to see a doctor. If you don't then it could be life threatening. Good Luck with it though, I hope it's nothing serious.

Sorry to read of your problem - what color is the blood? If bright red - you could have hemorrhoids; even if you don't feel any on the outside of your anal opening - you could have internal ones. the bowel movement will aggravate them, making them tender and swollen - and they bleed. You should try adding more fiber to your diet - or take a fiber supplement each day (like BeneFiber - its NOT gritty, has NO taste and is NOT thick and gross) Add it to your coffee or juice each day and drink up!
If your bowel movement is extremely hard and it is difficult to "go", you may need a stool softener (you can get those at your local CVS or Walgreen's ... called 'stool softeners'!).
You may need medication to get rid of the hemorrhoids. Best to use those medicated pads "Tucks" and PAT don't wipe yourself.
If this continues, you obviously have to go and see your Dr. Go to see a Gastroenterologist (they deal with all the areas from your stomach to your butt); This is their specialty and they will know right away how to treat you.
Don't worry about internal bleeding (like your organs or anything) if your seeing red blood - its superficial. The "bad" worrisome blood they talk about is more blackish in color with a horrible foul smell and mostly your BM's would be pasty and tarry.
Hope some of this helped you :)

You should see a doctor, real quick. How long has this been happening? How can you not be in terrible pain?
Are you sure it isn't some sort of tint from the diet you have? I don't know what else could have a woman bleeding from her butt like you describe, obviously not in any kind of physical distress and without a description of any sort of skin tag or hemorrhoid.
Are you anorexic? Is there glass in your food? Could someone be poisoning you?
How old are you? You should tell a friend. Then they will tell a friend, and so on and so on and so on........LOL. I am just kidding. I am just trying to figure out if you are serious, or just posting a question too absurd to even be capable of answering without many more details from you................, which an adult would already know

He most likely has hemorrhoids. If he eats a lot of junk food, hamburgers, french fries and pizza this will constipate him. I suggest stool softeners and laxatives every few days. If the blood is dark red instead of bright red take him to the doctor. A visit would probably be a good idea anyway. Good luck.

You should go to the hospital asap.
I have had Crohns disease for over 30 years and it does not get better without help. Also, the internal Hemorrhoids will bleed like that. This too needs help. Good Luck.
