I have been married 16 years and my husband has been in the Army 14 years (and still going strong)..well our son will be starting high school this year, when I went to the clinic here on post to get a copy of his shot records, they werent in my sons file, they said they lost them (someone stole our safe from our house that all records in it) and that they would have to give him all his immunizations over again...isnt there anyone else that may have a copy of them..i never heard of doing all the immunizations over

we have been stationed here 3 and half years.. i never thought of checking with the middle school.. thanks!!

Check with the state IF you have been stationary for some time. They might be able to help you.. Supposedly they are informed of immunizations. Also check his middle school. Some of them also keep them on file. IF not, then he would have to get some of the immunizations over again.

I don't know about the Army, but the AF has all of the shot records on their computer system. When we got to our new base they just pulled it up on the computer and printed it out. Made it so easy to take to the school... so much easier to read!!

Besides, your sons file should have been sent to the high school from the middle school!

sorry! unless you have a photocopy of the immunization record (yellow pamphlet) then your son has to get his immunizations all over again!
unless, if all his medical records at the post clinic were transferred to a CD disc!

Nope, and even if the clinic hadnt "lost" them, they all went digital with it, and they dont keep paper copies of immunizations--- they wouldnt even accept mine recently because it was the yellow paper card- all because they went digital and mine wasnt in the system..
