I love it - its similar to the one I chose. And who cares what your jealous so called friend thinks - the only thing that matters is, if its your dream dress and you love it!
Congrats!

It's not my style but I don't think it's ugly.
This whole wedding thing brings out evil in lots of woman. Are you sure she's still a best friend? My supposedly best friend from childhood says the most evil things to me. She even flirted with my ex boyfriend in front of me. I guess what I'm saying is friends grow apart and that's okay. You may just need to bring someone else that really cares. Like your mother:) Or just buy another dress. I bought two and wore one for the ceremony and one for the reception.
There's also a way of saying things. I'm sure if you really said what was on your mind she'd be crying. Good Luck.

It's beautiful. I love the back. I think all gowns should have great backs since that's what people see the most during the wedding. I love that you didn't choose a strapless dress. Strapless does not look good on most women, but seems to be the only thing worn right now. Good for you for selecting something that you love.

it is always hard to say what something would look like on a person. you see something in the window and it looks good on the model, then on you it looks like 0_o.
it is not something i would wear, but i am sure you will look nice in it. i like how the bottom looks. :)
** rude, she should not have used the word ugly! there are other ways to word things like "i think i liked the second dress you tried on better" or " i like this part and this part, maybe no so much this". i am sorry she was so mean. :( you wear what makes you feel beautiful.

I think it looks very pretty but it isn't up to us to decide that. If you're having second thoughts about this dress and whether or not you like it...then you probably shouldn't get it. And if you already bought it then either A) take it back and try to find a dress you absolutely love or B) keep the dress and learn to like it. I don't know what else to tell you.

I haven't looked the dress up, if it is your dream dress I don't need to see it to know you'll look beautiful in it. Your friend is a cow and jealous, jealousy makes people say horrible things, tell her your mother has better taste than she does anyway.

I dont think it is "Ugly" but I have seen this dress in person, and I don't think it is attractive.
However, it is very difficult for us to say how you look in the gown, having no idea of your body shape or size.
Are you attached to this gown? Do you feel beautiful, confident and perfect in this gown? Then, it doesn't matter if other people think the gown is unattractive. They won't be wearing it.

Your so called friend is jealous, so put that out of your mind. The dress is beautiful and you picked a dream of a dress. This girl is really not your friend.

I wouldn't wear it, it is not my style at all. It's your day and if that is the dress you have always envisioned, it's the perfect dress for you.
I just saw your additional details:
P*ss on your "friend". She is jealous and I'm guessing very single and not getting married anytime soon. A bride looks most radiant when they know they are wearing their dream dress. Get the dress, ignore your "friend", and enjoy your wedding!
Congratulations!!
