First of all, never, ever consider gambling as entertainment. It's not. That kind of thinking will get you into trouble. You gamble to try and win money. If you want entertainment, go to a show or sporting event.
Accept the fact that there is no way to guarantee you will win. The odds are against you.
Don't spend everything trying for the jackpot. Casinos entice customers to do exactly that. It's practically a guarantee that you will go home broke.
Instead, learn to be satisfied with smaller profits. Smart gamblers know that, and know when to leave with them. Any time you come out ahead is a good session at a casino, regardless of the amount.
Don't bet foolishly when you think you're on a winning streak. The truth is, you never know when you're on a streak. You only know when you've been on one.
Finally, never, under any circumstances, get the idea that you're playing with the casino's money. People say it all the time, especially when they've won early. This can, and usually does, lead to reckless playing. In reality, nobody ever plays with the casino's money. Once you win it, it's your money. Don't toss it around foolishly as if it belonged to the casino. If you do, chances are it will by the time you leave.
Good luck.

Well, these multi-billion dollar casinos aren't built on people winning money from the casinos. The odds are always in the casino's favor.
But if you just plan on having a good time and play smart, you can win occasionally. Blackjack and Craps have the best odds for the player depending on how you bet and how you play.
To me craps is one of the most fun table games to play, but there is a pretty steep learning curve and it's not the simplest game. Plus the minimum bet at most casinos is $5 or higher. But once you learn and start trying out different bets it can be a lot of fun. Especially when it comes your turn to throw the dice.
Just set aside a set amount to play with and don't go over. And if you end up with more money than you started with you have to set a limit and walk away once you are back down to it. (or before!)
Just have fun and remember that there are always a lot of other things to do to entertain yourself at these places.

Your best bet is the bet you don't place.
Look at it as entertainment. How much is a night's entertainment worth? Take that amount, and that amount only, into the casino. No extra cash. No credit cards. Nothing more. When what you take is gone, its gone. Find something else to do.
Your best odds are at the Blackjack Tables. But it can be expensive. And the dealers are so FAST. Be careful.
If you like the slots (probably most popular but also worst odds), go in the evening to observe only. Watch the machines at the end of rows (those get played most). Make a mental note to avoid any machine that you see pay out big. Note machines that are being played constantly but are not paying. Then go back and play those machines very early in the morning (2:00 am or even later).
Have fun but stay out of trouble.

There is no proven way to win or else we'd all be rich. What you can do is get the casino's player club and enter it into any slot machine you may play or give to casino Pit boss if you are playing cards- this way you can accumulate points. Depending on the casino many offer free food, merchandise, comp rooms, etc after accumulating so many points. I always like to use it because they send me offers in the mail for future stays free or at a cheap rate that not just anyone gets unless they are members of their casino players club. Good luck!

#1 depending on the game, you may need luck or you may need skill, or maybe both, on slots, that's luck, craps is luck, now black jack is both because you have to know what move to make, and it need's to be right because you are playing iwth a table of people and if you make the wrong move it could effect their outcome and they will get upset with you good luck
